Elon Musk Hilariously Upends Deranged Dem’s Anti-Free Speech Bills

It’s not every day that California Governor Gavin Newsom and Elon Musk square off, but it sure is funny when they do.

As detailed by Blaze Media, Newsom thought it would be a great idea to make a rather strange move at a Big Tech conference, especially as his move was arguably anti-tech.

Nonetheless, alongside Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, Newsom emerged onstage at the Dreamforce conference in San Francisco, which was strange, in and of itself..

Dreamforce, the self-proclaimed “largest AI event in the world,” made an awfully strange choice in making Newsom a headliner, considering he appeared to turn the event into little more than shameless political pandering.

Complete with a public “signing” of not one, not two, but three bills on stage.

As if an AI tech conference is the best place to conduct public legislative business, especially of the controversial variety.

The three bills – AB 2655, AB 2355, and AB 2839 – all aim to “control AI” with regards to elections, using the vague language preferred by wannabe authoritarians who have to feign a desire for democratic governance.

For instance, AB 2655 makes it illegal “to label certain additional content inauthentic, fake, or false.”

Meanwhile, AB 2355 bans “generated or substantially altered” election ads.

In other words, the bills basically suppress any form of humor or comedy, and the bills also effectively admit that the voting base in California is apparently unable to discern between obvious deepfakes and genuine election ads.

Of course, Newsom, with his hair gel ever so fastidiously applied, grinned widely as he signed “deepfake” bills in a rather public forum.

“I just thought, you know, why waste your time with a politician unless they’re gonna do something for you?” Newsom snickered.

After allegedly signing three sheets of paper, Newsom declared that the new policies are apparently “official,” as well as “injunctive relief if [anyone does] any of those ‘deepfake’ election misrepresentations.”

“So that’s how easy it is to govern,” Newsom brayed, putting his obvious addiction to power on full display.

Is that so?

Well, it may be that easy to “govern,” but it sure does not seem easy to circumvent Musk, who took great delight in undermining Newsom’s lunacy.

It should be noted that Newsom’s lunacy was in part motivated by an altered Kamala Harris ad, which apparently offended Newsom deeply.

Indeed, within the obvious parody, Harris boasts that she is the “ultimately diversity hire,” who was “selected” following the exposure of Biden’s “senility.”

That video is now banned under California law … though Musk was hardly put off by the ban.

On the contrary, he was encouraged by it.

“The governor of California just made this parody video illegal in violation of the Constitution of the United States. Would be a shame if it went viral,” Musk tweeted.

Now that’s funny. Undoubtedly left Newsom fuming, that’s for sure.

Humor aside, Musk does have a point.

That alteration is such an obvious joke, yet it is now banned under California law.

At this rate, comedy clubs will soon be banned.

“Safeguarding the integrity of elections is essential to democracy, and it’s critical that we ensure AI is not deployed to undermine the public’s trust through disinformation – especially in today’s fraught political climate …

These measures will help to combat the harmful use of deepfakes in political ads and other content, one of several areas in which the state is being proactive to foster transparent and trustworthy AI,” Newsom ranted.

Right. As if the Dems haven’t done plenty to contribute to such a “fraught political climate.”

Given that Newsom was one of the most authoritarian governors in the nation during COVID, it’s rather surprising that he proclaims to claim such deep respect for democracy now.
