Savvy Sheriff Presents Ingenious Idea For Housing Illegals

Looks like the lefties, once again, need to learn how to take a joke.

As reported by The Blaze, quite a few liberals went absolutely berserk over a post on a sheriff’s private social media account.

Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski, who clearly is more interested in protecting America than propping up illegals, had some fun dreaming up potential solutions, even if they were meant in obvious jest.

Just consider his rather hilarious, albeit logical, plan for illegals, as detailed on his personal social media account.

“When people ask me… What’s gonna happen if the Flip – Flopping, Laughing Hyena Wins?? I say…write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards!” the sheriff joked.

Of course, a number of overly sensitive snowflakes promptly freaked out, sending in raging complaints to the Akron Beacon Journal.

“Now it’s like you are deciding who you are going to protect and who you aren’t if they are not like minded … I certainly hope the sheriff’s office isn’t looking up voter registration before he offers to send people out, but people have a right to wonder about that,” one person raged.

Oh please. Spare us all the melodrama.

“What that statement was on Facebook was intended for oppression, intimidation, and suppression of freedom of speech,” another person added.

Well then … that one is even more melodramatic.

However, the Akron Beacon Journal had enough sense to get the sheriff’s side of the story, which is quite fortunate … as it is safe to say that the sheriff had a saner response.

“As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of Portage County, I have sworn to protect ALL citizens of my County. Recently, I placed a post on my personal [F]acebook page that may have been a little misinterpreted??” Zuchowski inquired.

No kidding.

Super-sensitive leftists tend to misrepresent everything, while simultaneously squawking about misinformation.

“I…as the elected sheriff, do have a first amendment right as do all citizens. If the citizens of Portage County want to elect an individual who has supported open borders (which I’ve personally visited Twice!) and neglected to enforce the laws of our Country…then that is their prerogative. With elections, there are consequences,” Zuchowski added.

Indeed, there are.

After all, the ones complaining may well be the same ones voting in favor of politicians who favor open borders, though self-awareness of such Orwellian doublespeak tends to evade most lefties.

Little wonder the Portage County Republican Party stood by the sheriff as well.

“I believe the sheriff’s statement is a bit of artistic license getting toward the principal belief that elections have consequences. Our sheriffs are elected to stand for the citizens of the county, and Bruce Zuchowski stands for Portage,” a spokesperson proclaimed.

Seriously.

What he does not stand for is unfettered illegal immigration … alongside everyone else with at least half a dose of common sense.

Heck, maybe next year he will just for all the illegals to head to the DNC … especially since the whole convention focused on “free” stuff … or bashing Trump.
