If there is one federal department that needs to be abolished near-immediately, it is the absolutely worthless Department of “Education.”
Which, these days, is little more than a full-blown indoctrination into Marxism.
Thus, the Department of “Education” would be more appropriately identified as the Department of Disinformation.
Now, more than a few representatives from the sordid department have managed to make headlines for their generally unsavory behavior.
This time, the unsavory behavior includes stealing from homeless students.
That’s right, homeless students.
Per a stunning report from the New York Post, a number of DEI hires in the educational system apparently thought it would be a great idea to take their kids to Disney, when the trip had actually been created for homeless students.
Apparently, 1 in 9 students in New York has experienced homelessness at some point, a staggering percentage for a city that hands out homes like candy to illegal migrants.
So, the DoE attempted to do something special for homeless students by creating a taxpayer-funded trip to Disney.
Alas, those DEI hires, who already receive salaries in excess of $100,000 decided that their kids would be going to Disney instead.
“Six Department of Education employees used “forged permission slips” to take their own kids and grandchildren to Disney World and on other city-funded trips meant for homeless students, investigators alleged.
The secret perks robbed some of the city’s most disadvantaged kids of a chance to enjoy the Magic Kingdom – a trip that cost $66,000 for 50 or so adults and kids, a staffer said – and other multiple-day trips between 2016 and 2019 to Washington, DC, New Orleans, Boston, upstate Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, and Frost Valley YMCA campground, according to a newly released report by the Special Commissioner of Investigation for city schools,” the New York Post reported.
Classy. What wholly predictable behavior from entitled DEI hires.
After all, one of the apparent thieves is Shaquieta Boyd, who clearly colluded with other DEI hires to enrich themselves at the expense of taxpayers … and the homeless students they were supposed to help.
Outside of stealing from homeless students, representatives from the DoE have long worked hard at destroying the nation’s educational institutions.
After all, just consider the garbage that students are learning in schools these days …
Gone are the days of civics, economics, and basic common sense.
Heck, for that matter, even subjects such as math and science have been completely corrupted by the “woke mind virus,” as the sage Elon Musk likes to put it.
Naturally, history has all but been completely eliminated or otherwise corrupted, given the Dems’ desire to shove hateful, divisive subjects like “critical race theory” into school curricula at the expense of a real education.
On top of that, many schools, with the apparent approval of the DoE, have invented entirely new subjects, including so-called “gender studies” that brainwash 11-year-olds into thinking they are an entirely different sex.
The DoE, in many ways, is directly responsible for the virulent hatred unfolding across different college campuses now, given that most students grow up to become good like Marxists, rather than the free thinkers who founded the nation in the first place.
Given the damage that the department has caused to the entire nation’s educational system, is it really any surprise that its top representatives, all DEI picks of course, have zero qualms about stealing from homeless students?
On the taxpayers’ dime, no less.
But hey, maybe those DEI employees at the DoE merely perceive stealing from homeless kids to go to Disney as a bizarre form of “reparations” for themselves …
Given that they’ll justify any other reprehensible behavior, including mass robbery, as merely “reparations” as well.
