Looks like the White House continues to epically fumble in the months leading up to the election, especially with regards to its blatant weaponization of the “justice” system.
And while the bulk of the swamp’s attention has been on Trump, it is clear that the Biden-Harris administration has zero qualms about targeting anyone who is politically inconvenient.
Including Democrats who have criticized the way the White House has handled the border crisis, such as New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
Granted, Adams’s own accommodation of illegal migrants has been directly responsible for the massive surge across the “sanctuary city” in the first place, but he still had the gumption to call out the White House for its terrible open borders policies.
After Adams criticized the White House, he soon found himself in the bullseye of a federal investigation.
And only Adams has been subjected to the apparent weaponization of the judicial system, but also Adams’s closest associates, as reported by Politico.
Supporters of Eric Adams were set to hold a campaign kickoff on September 14 at Gracie Mansion, though the event was abruptly cancelled after the FBI conducted yet another set of raids on the mayor’s closest associates.
“Apologies for the inconvenience but Saturday, September 14th’s event has been POSTPONED,” a spokesperson for Adams announced.
And what a reason for postponement.
Indeed, the FBI executed search warrants on some of the top appointees in the Adams administration, including first deputy mayor Sheena Wright, senior advisor Tim Pearson, and, ironically, NYPD commissioner Edward Caban.
On his part, Adams has taken the FBI’s actions in stride, despite the agency’s apparent refusal to explicitly identify anything Adams has done wrong.
And Adams himself states that he has not done anything wrong.
“As a former law enforcement person, the goal is to follow the law. Whatever information that’s needed, we’re going to turn it over, and I’m going to continue to be the mayor of the City of New York, the greatest city on the globe,” Adams continued.
Adams’ Chief Counsel Lisa Zornberg also affirmed this message.
“Investigators have not indicated to us the mayor or his staff are targets of any investigation. As a former member of law enforcement, the mayor has repeatedly made clear that all members of the team need to follow the law,” Zornberg declared.
Alas, it seems that the Biden-Harris administration has its claws out for anyone who publicly criticized it, much in the same way that dictators abroad react.
And despite Adams’s brave public face, he is clearly rattled by what the White House is doing.
“It’s clear as day you don’t want what happened [with the FBI] to happen when you’re heading into reelection,” an individual close to the Adams campaign detailed.
Other Adams advocates are even more forthright, directly accusing the government of racism.
Indeed, Adams directed various individuals to Bishop Mitchell Taylor for further remarks, and Taylor was quite blunt in his assessments.
“Because he’s a Black man, he’s being berated. This is racially infused. Have you ever seen this before? I haven’t,” Taylor raged.
Well, the weaponization has occurred with Trump, though the Dems’ targeting of their own is rather troubling.
After all, if they’ll do that to each other, what would they do to the rest of the nation?
Taylor continued his angry rant, claiming that the government is effectively harassing Adams without cause.
“There’s instruments being hit, cymbals and drums but you’re not producing a chorus … The public deserves to know what we’re talking about, instead of running around here, snatching devices and not talking about it,” Taylor continued.
Much like the treatment Trump has received.
But Dems won’t stop with just him.
Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn also claimed that a constituent asked, “why is the federal government harassing these Black folks?”, which is a rather roundabout way of calling out the government for the racist weaponization of the FBI.
One thing is for certain: Adams has rapidly fallen from grace under the Biden-Harris regime.
At one point, Adams had been hailed as “the future of the party.”
Adams also referred to himself as the “Biden of Brooklyn.”
Now, he may well be referred to as the “Trump of the party,” considering the degree to which federal resources appear to have been deployed against him following his criticism.
