Looks like the disgraced former CNN host Don Lemon hasn’t learned his lesson, considering the absurd nonsense he continues to spout off.
In direct remarks to the Daily Mail, Lemon actually had the gall to call for Taylor Swift to “move” the forthcoming 2024 presidential election.
“Taylor Swift needs to step forward. She’s very influential. She can move an election,” Lemon brayed.
Exactly how is calling for some mega celebrity to basically brainwash her militant Gen Z “fans” into “moving an election” an example of the so-called “democracy” that Dems said Trump would threaten?
Then again, Ms. Kamala Harris is hardly a democratically elected candidate herself … She was coronated after all.
“If she believes in women’s reproductive rights and a women’s right to choose – and in democracy, I would say that Taylor Swift needs to come through. It would be a wasted opportunity if she does not use her platform for good,” Lemon continued.
“If she does not use her platform for good?” Get real.
After all, Ms. Swift has already exerted a rather unsavory political influence in 2018 and 2020 alike, specifically in terms of her endorsement of varied Democrats.
For instance, in 2018, Swift openly supported varied Tennessee Democrats, such as Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and House candidate Jim Cooper.
“In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now,” Swift brayed at the time.
Please, Ms. Swift. Please refrain from “publicly voicing” your opinions …. Especially given your total detachment from the reality of the security and economic issues facing Americans.
“I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country,” Swift continued.
So, by all means, vote for warmongering Dems. Real practical.
In 2020, Swift also took a direct stance in favor of Biden, astonishingly claiming that he is the key to starting a “healing process” for the nation.
“I will proudly vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this year’s presidential election. Under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs,” Swift pompously announced.
Of course, four years and 10M+ illegal migrants later, Swift may want to rethink her position on the nation’s so-called “healing” under the Biden-Harris administration.
And if she has any sense at all, not to mention real concern for national healing, she’ll stay quiet in 2024 … and in every other election moving forward.
