It’s rather remarkable to look back at the Biden-Harris White House’s absurd policies over time, in particular the policies regarding people’s personal healthcare.
After all, the administration happily ruined several people’s professional livelihoods over a vaccine … only to allow all kinds of other illnesses and viruses stream across the border.
Indeed, while the media is currently harping on and on about the latest variant of COVID and the rising threat of “mpox,” another virus has captured the interest of the Fauci-backed CDC: Oropouche virus, which is otherwise known as “sloth fever.”
According to an alarmist report from CNN, this “sloth fever” is apparently present in the United States … courtesy of quite a few nations to the south.
“A little-known disease spread by insect bites has turned deadly, and health officials are sounding the alarm …More than 8,000 cases of Oropouche virus have been reported this year as of August 1. Most have been in South America, but infections are also spreading in countries where it hasn’t been seen before, and dozens of travel-related cases have been reported in the United States and Europe,” CNN reported.
“Travel-related cases.” Love it.
Maybe it’s travel … or maybe it’s illegal migration. Especially as illegal migrants get to bypass all the pesky public health requirements that the Biden administration previously put in place for others.
And, of course, “the geographic spread” of the illness may well spell out untold public policy consequences in the near future.
“Although the disease has historically been described as mild, the geographic spread in transmission and the detection of more severe cases underscore the need for increased surveillance and characterization of possible more severe manifestations,” the Pan American Health Organization announced.
Something suggests “more severe manifestations” are quite possible in rodent-filled New York City.
Especially when compounded by high humidity and large insect populations.
“The virus spreads to people through insect bites, especially from biting midges, a type of tiny fly, and certain types of mosquitoes. It is endemic to the Amazon basin region of South America, particularly in forested areas where transmission is maintained in a cycle between insects and other hosts such as rodents, sloths and birds. It’s sometimes called ‘sloth fever,’” CNN declared.
“Sloth fever.” Wonderful. As if the left needed any other justification to be infinitely lazy.
“People who visit these areas can be bitten by an infected insect and carry the disease back to more urban areas,” CNN helpfully added.
Correction, CNN: People who migrate from* these areas can be bitten as well, CNN.
Especially when its multiple millions of them.
Although, per Scientific American, the source of the “science” that Fauci so adores, it takes just one person to spark a full-blown epidemic.
“What also raises concern is the finding of local transmission in Cuba for the first time. and imported cases in Europe and in the United States. As the Culicoides paraensis midge is found throughout the Americas, from the United States to Argentina, whenever there are infected people and there are vectors, there may be local transmission events. So, any infected individual can generate a local epidemic, that’s the main concern,” Scientific American reported.
So, in other words, all it would take is one illegal migrant infected with “sloth fever” to spark a veritable epidemic.
And all its convenient accompaniments, in particular mandatory lockdowns and mail-in voting.
One can only hope that such a sham would not repeat itself again in 2024, but the brazen coronation of Kamala Harris seems to suggest that virtually anything is possible.
