“Don’t you know who I am?!”
Perhaps one of the most obnoxious, not to mention unaware, comments on the planet … and one typically associated with high school dropout Hollywood “celebrities.”
Alas, it appears that leftists and their lemmings are becoming one and the same, considering that a rather classless Dem pulled that “don’t you know who I am?” stunt at a major airport.
Which is exactly what Albany County Executive Dan McCoy did after missing his flight, all due to his inability to control his own appetite.
Exemplary leadership, though rather common for New York.
McCoy apparently had a major craving for Chick-Fil-A, and rather than sensibly ensuring he had enough time to eat fried chicken before the flight, he went ahead and di did it anyway.
Rather hilariously, the Dems have generally blasted Chick-Fil-A over the years for its conservative leanings, with perhaps the most infamous incident including their explosion over the company’s position on LGBTQ matters.
And that was well before the militant transgender movement.
Nonetheless, despite the uproar in public, Dems do as they do in private … until they publicly berate airline staff.
After McCoy finished off his friend meal, he strolled over to the gate, shocked to find that it was closed because boarding had concluded.
Rather than apologize and get on the next flight willingly, like any reasonable person would do, McCoy proceeded to start the “don’t you know who I am?” game, which bordered on threatening, depending on perspective.
From the snowflake Dem perspective, it would no doubt be considered a supremely threatening approach.
Much to the amusement of an eyewitness who observed the Dem’s astounding arrogance in public.
“They wouldn’t open (the door) for him even after he told them he was county executive and that he was going to see the president (and Vice President Kamala) Harris, and that he was in charge of the airport,” the eyewitness observed.
And, while McCoy adopted a polite tone (more likely smarmy), the eyewitness noted that the Democrat “dropped his name several times.”
As if airline staff would even know who he is. Though they surely had no trouble lecturing him on accountability.
“You shouldn’t have gone and gotten (food), you would have made your flight,” the airline employee dryly remarked.
No kidding.
Hilariously, the Dems didn’t deny McCoy’s arrogance at the airport, though they insisted no public funds were used for his flight.
Right …
Rather pitiable that Dems demand special treatment effectively anywhere they go, casually disregarding the First Amendment whenever it does not suit them
Which is often.
After all, just consider the impact of the DNC on Chicago, as apparently “no permitted protests” at the height of the convention.
“According to the city of Chicago, there are no permitted protests scheduled for Wednesday, though unsanctioned protests and demonstrations could occur. Tuesday night, more than a dozen pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested during a non-permitted protest near Ogilvy Transportation Center,” NBC Chicago reported.
So, no “permitted protests” are scheduled? What are the odds that no “permits” would have been given
After all, Dems do thrive in a “rules for thee, not for me” environment …
