Bungling Biden appears to be bound and determined to cause as much chaos as possible before he departs, which is precisely why he’s put a “bullseye” on the Supreme Court for apparent reform.
Naturally, “elite” Democrats, such as Chuck Schumer, have happily agreed to do Biden’s bidding, which is rather evident in the bill that he just had drawn up.
Needless to say, the bill goes against the Supreme Court ruling regarding presidential immunity, and it takes direct aim at top presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Which Schumer himself proclaimed.
“We were all taught in grade school that there are no kings here in America. But what the MAGA Justices have done is effectively place a crown on Trump’s head,” Schumer brayed.
Well, that’s interesting, considering that Kamala’s 90-year-old ex-boyfriend declared she would soon be the “queen” of the nation.
Willie Brown’s moronic remarks notwithstanding, it’s rather clear that Schumer is all too eager to help carry out whatever devious ploys the Dems may have in mind – as Biden has suddenly transformed into an effective lame duck president, it seems that the sky (and then some) is the limit for the Dem brigade.
Which is why Schumer is now heavily pushing the “No Kings Act.”
“This bill would reaffirm that the President is not immune to legal accountability and remove the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction to hear appeals related to presidential immunity,” Schumer boomed.
Right. Does such legal accountability extend to Biden, in that case?
Oh, that’s right – he’s already received a pass because of his “memory issues.”
Then Schumer had the gall to actually invoke the Founding Fathers, who his party rarely seems to turn to on more than one occasion.
“The Founders were explicit: no man in America shall be a king. But the MAGA Supreme Court threw out centuries of precedent and anointed Trump and subsequent presidents as kings above the law. That’s why I’m introducing the No Kings Act to crack down on this dangerous precedent,” Schumer raged.
Is that so?
Then, pray tell, what would the “Founders” that Schumer suddenly cares about have to say about the fact that multiple politicians in the swamp appear to have gone into public service for the express purpose of getting rich quickly … and easily?
What would the “Founding Fathers” thinking of Nany Pelosi’s multi-million dollar net worth, which easily supersedes that of multiple CEOs?
Mind you, CEOs actually work for a living, at least more than your average politician.
After all, they’re subject to routine performance reviews, and they also can’t live a life of luxury on the taxpayers’ dime.
Schumer reportedly was elected to the New York State Assembly in 1974, and he’s remained in politics ever since.
For someone who has spent 50 years in politics, it’s rather ironic that Schumer is apparently the key promoter of the “No Kings Act.”
As he’s carved out quite a kingly position for himself over the last half century.
