Looks like Obama is attempting to give Marcus Brutus, well known for his betrayal of Julius Caesar, a major run for his money.
As he sure is intent on stabbing on his former running mate in the back, chiefly in the form of a well-coordinated media assault upon Biden’s fitness, or lack thereof, for office.
After all, no one is going to threaten Obama’s fourth term, if he has anything to do with it.
Indeed, none other than David Axelrod, who is widely credited for masterminding Obama’s 2008 campaign, has directly called for Biden to say “buh bye” to his candidacy in a scorching editorial.
Published on the official website of the Communist News Network (i.e., CNN), no less.
In the bluntly titled opinion piece – “Biden’s Defiant Delusion” – Obama’s top advisor/speechwriter/communications specialist launches a full-blown assault on Biden.
Indeed, nothing associated with Biden is safe in Axelrod’s rant – from his dwindling mental faculties to his apparently insufficient intentions.
Echoing Obama’s remarks regarding Biden’s “bad” debate, Axelrod took things a step further by characterizing Biden’s performance as “awful,” noting that the president was both “incoherent” and “lost” throughout his failed efforts to thwart Trump.
The ramifications of the debate, per Axelrod, were made all the worse by his apparently disastrous interview with pro-Democrat George Stephanopoulos.
While Biden was undoubtedly spoon-fed interview questions in advance, he still managed to flub quite a few of them, much to the horror of his duplicitous handlers.
The “chief strategist” for Obama then segued into an attack on Biden’s “mental acuity.”
“But on the big question that now threatens his campaign – whether he still has the stamina and mental acuity to serve for four more years in the world’s toughest job – the 81-year-old president offered little reassurance beyond a proud recitation of his impressive first-term accomplishments,” Axelrod wrote.
“First-term accomplishments.” Now, that’s hilarious.
Unless, of course, continuing Obama’s anti-American destruction is considered an “accomplishment.”
In that case, Biden surely has done his “job” quite well. Or, more accurately, his handlers have.
Axelrod also points out that Biden has repeatedly refused to take a cognitive test, insisting that he already takes one “every day” through serving as president … a refusal not lost on Americans.
“Most Americans, having watched him lately, would grade him poorly on that score,” Axelrod continued, ironically mirroring Trump’s own arguments.
After assailing his “mental acuity,” Axelrod proceeded to question Biden’s actual intentions, suggesting that they are hardly ethical in nature.
“Just as distressing was Biden’s stubborn denial of his public standing and position in a race that he has characterized as an existential battle for the survival of American democracy,” Axelrod continued.
Of course, Axelrod doesn’t note the irony of switching out Democrat candidates at the last minute after millions of brainwashed lemmings allegedly voted for Biden in multiple primaries … after all, wouldn’t a sudden candidate swap be a so-called threat to “the survival of American democracy?”
Axelrod also touched on one of the most inflammatory parts of Biden’s interview, where he reportedly proclaimed that only “the Lord Almighty” would be able to persuade him to step down.
Yikes.
Even more astonishing was Axelrod’s swift dismissal of such a statement.
“Sometimes the Lord Almighty comes in the form of enlightened self-awareness,” Obama’s speechwriter asserted.
Double yikes. Cue the screeching from Jill Biden, who is clearly not ready to give up her self-serving Voguecovers.
Elsewhere in his opinion piece, Axelrod uses a host of unsavory words to describe Biden’s current behavior.
“Denial. Delusion. Defiance,” Axelrod huffed.
Funny. The same type of behavior exhibited by the college brats that Marxist Democrats have brainwashed in favor of terrorist organizations, not to mention violent criminals in general.
Though such traits are apparently not desirable in a president who had previously campaigned on so-called “unity” and “healing.”
And, lest Axelrod leave any ambiguity regarding his position, he makes it very clear he wants Biden to step aside … out of “duty” to America.
“The stakes are as great as Biden describes. And if he believes it, as I think he does, he will eventually do what duty and love of country requires, and step aside,” Axelrod declared.
So, Axelrod “thinks” that Biden believes what he’s saying. That’s a resounding endorsement for the president’s so-called honesty … not.
One thing is for certain: Obama sure is on edge about losing his “fourth term,” as evidenced by Axelrod’s assault on supposedly “lawless” Trump.
“At this rate, Biden is likely headed for a landslide defeat to a lawless and unpopular former president,” Axelrod wailed.
“Unpopular?” Varied pollsters beg to differ.
As far as “lawless” is concerned?
Last time anyone checked, Trump wasn’t getting millions from nefarious foreign actors … nor were his children engaged in outrageously illegal behavior with guns, narcotics, and human trafficked prostitutes.
Otherwise known as common activities for the Biden clan.
That said, the fact that one of Obama’s top dogs is calling for Biden to drop out speaks volumes … especially with regards to the Dems’ insatiable thirst for power.
No matter the cost.
