Looks like the internecine conflict brewing in the Democrat Party is set to continue.
Considering that failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has just hurled a political hand grenade into the upcoming election.
Per a report from The Blaze, Ms. Clinton has opted to make a startling endorsement in the forthcoming congressional elections, chiefly through supporting a candidate who is not a blatant DEI pick.
Apparently, Clinton supports George Latimer, the candidate who is presently challenging incumbent Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman.
Whereas Latimer is most decidedly not DEI, Bowman clearly is.
Both Latimer and Bowman, however, are Democrats, which means they are both largely bound by the same woke ideology.
The only question is how woke.
In Bowman’s case, it’s a supremely antisemitic version of woke, which is likely when Clinton opted to endorse his competitor.
“With Trump on the ballot, we need strong, principled Democrats in Congress more than ever. In Congress, @LatimerforNY will protect abortion rights, stand up to the NRA, and fight for President Biden’s agenda – just like he’s always done. Make a plan to vote by June 25th!” Clinton brayed on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Cue the DEI army, especially since Bowman is in his position due to what he looks like, rather than what (if anything) he really believes.
On his part, Latimer lapped up the praise from Clinton, which he promptly expressed.
“I’m honored to have the support of @HillaryClinton, whose decades of service are an inspiration,” Latimer declared.
Naturally, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, both of whom are quite wealthy, back Bowman, if only because he looks (and speaks) the “part” they’re gunning for.
After all, Bowman has made an entire career out of hatred, which is what he clearly coasts on when his privileged appearance (and name) can’t get him much further.
“This July 4th, we must remember that we stand on stolen land toiled by enslaved Africans and recommit ourselves to the fight for freedom, equality, & justice so that these ideals are accessible to everyone, not just a privileged few. We are not free until everyone is truly free,” Bowman fiercely declared on July 4, 2023.
Rather ironic, considering Bowman is one of those “privileged few” in Congress.
Who got in based on what he looks like, rather than what he actually does, no less.
Bowman really revealed his true colors in his recent rampages against Jewish individuals, which was evident in the senseless misinformation that he spread on AIPAC.
“That is why AIPAC’s [ American Israel Public Affairs Committee] is coming after us, coming after us with hate, coming after us with bullying, intimidation, and fear. You should see what they’re doing in my district,” Bowman raged.
“Bullying, intimidation, and fear.” So, in other words, Bowman is the epitome of the pot calling the kettle black.
“They don’t like my style, I’m a little too radical, I’m a member of the ‘Squad.’ They want to call me the N-word, but they know they can’t get away with that, so they say everything else,” Bowman blared.
By all means, keep on riding that self-victimization train, Bowman.
Needless to say, AIPAC spokesman Marshall Wittmann was not amused.
“Rep. Bowman’s scurrilous and shameful attacks won’t hide his record of aligning with an extremist, anti-Israel fringe. We back candidates based solely on their support for the US-Israel relationship, and we have proudly endorsed dozens of pro-Israel progressives, including nearly half of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Black Caucus and Hispanic Caucus,” Wittmann asserted.
Well, Unfortuantely, Bowman is not one to let a little thing like factual information get in the way of his self-proclaimed victimhood.
Indeed, he’s predictably blaming the movement to remove him on his skin color, rather than his highly questionable character.
“We have the military industrial complex and war[mongers] aligning themselves with special interests [and] racist, MAGA, election-denying Republicans to get the first black man out of this seat,” Bowman raged.
Hilariously, Bowman misspelled “warmongers” in his post, hence the correction above.
More importantly, he can now rage against Clinton, who has just gone full blown Team Latimer.
In the meantime, conservatives will focus on removing all Dems from power.
