In case you were wondering if BLM agitators have crawled under a rock for good, wonder no further: They haven’t.
Indeed, the thugs, clearly angered by being displaced by illegal migrants, have taken it upon themselves to sue another organization … for fraud.
Given BLM’s notorious thieving, notably purchases of multimillion dollar real estate with so-called “donations,” the lawsuit alleging fraud against yet another organization is rather comical, to say the least.
Indeed, the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation has filed a 285-page lawsuit in California Superior Court, Los Angeles County against the Tides Foundation, which has allegedly “refused to honor its promises and continues to commandeer BLMGNF’s donations,” according to BLM.
The timing of this lawsuit is suspect, to say the least, especially as BLM has been running in the red for quite some time now.
As the organization is obviously devoid of original ideas, it’s apparently decided to launching a massive lawsuit will solve all of its (richly deserved) financial woes.
“Tides has engaged in deceptive business practices and has operated in a quasi-banking capacity without appropriate regulatory oversight of licenses … Tides operates with a level of autonomy and minimal regulatory scrutiny that is starkly at odds with the regulatory framework imposed on traditional financial institutions,” BLM whined.
That’s rich. “Deceptive business practices?”
How about the “deceptive donation practices” that BLM has long engaged in, to the extent that even Californiablocked them from fundraising.
In all likelihood, BLM is suing Tides due to the latter’s donations to a radical BLM breakaway group run by anti-police activist Melina Abdullah, as Ms. Abdullah has apparently gotten into previous legal tiffs with BLM.
Specifically, Abdullah previously lost a “frivolous” $10M lawsuit against BLM and was ordered to pay $100,000+ in legal costs of the law firm representing the group.
Abdullah, who astoundingly remains a professor of Pan African Studies at California State University in Los Angeles, not only illustrates everything that is wrong with higher education, but also the extent to which both organizations are driven by one thing, and one thing only: personal enrichment, exacerbated by extreme greed and ignorance.
Of course, BLM hilariously attempts to take the “higher ground,” which is about as persuasive as the second-in-command in a murderous cartel being more “ethical” than the first-in-command.
Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation leader Shalomyah Bowers, whose name says it all, demonstrated rather inadequate self-awareness when ranting and raving over Abdullah’s supposed absence of accountability.
“Melina Abdullah sought a lawsuit of lies to try and gain power, and it didn’t work … I am happy a judge resoundingly dismissed Melina’s lawsuit a few months ago, but it was also really important that there be some accountability for her actions because free speech does not allow you to propagate lies … We’re thankful the judge is holding her accountable,” Bowers raged,
Now, if only BLM were ever held actually accountable for any of the death and destruction that they’ve clearly encouraged, with tax-free donations.
Alas, they’d rather sue Tides Foundation for so-called wrongdoing.
As described by the New York Post, Tides Foundation is effectively “a clearinghouse that collects donations for groups that may not have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.”
And the foundation has already responded swiftly to BLM’s accusations.
“Resources in the Black Lives Matter [collective action fund] were never intended to be granted to large, well-funded national organizations like Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, and [they] were always intended to be granted to local Black Lives Matter chapters … BLMGNF’s lawsuit seeks to circumvent the intent of the Fund’s donors and deprive grassroots Black Lives Matter chapters critical resources, for its own benefit,” Tides Foundation proclaimed.
Classic he-said, she-said, though both “he” and “she” in this instance are dedicated to virulent, society-destroying objectives. At least they’re going after each other this time.
Way to eat their own, though at least it’s great entertainment for conservatives to watch the ignorant leftists continue circling the drain.
May the circling continue until they are wholly irrelevant.
