Looks like woke Governor Gretchen Whitmer isn’t too pleased with the “Abandon Biden” movement, which has been initiated by multiple Arab Americans angered over Biden’s position on Israel.
Indeed, the “Abandon Biden” movement is set to shake up primary elections in Michigan, set to take place on February 27.
Instead of voting for Biden, many Democrat voters are anticipated to vote “uncommitted” to express their anger with Biden over Israel.
And Whitmer is not pleased, at all.
“I just want to make the case, though, that it’s important not to lose sight of the fact that any vote that’s not cast for Joe Biden supports a second Trump term,” Whitmer remarked angrily.
Hey, millions of conservative Americans surely won’t protest that.
Of course, Whitmer had to spin it as though that were the worst possible outcome.
“A second Trump term would be devastating, not just on fundamental rights, not just on our democracy here at home, but also when it comes to foreign policy … This was a man that proposed a Muslim ban. This is, I think, a very high-stakes moment,” the governor continued to rage.
Actually, a second Biden term would probably see the remainder of the United States’ northern and southern border disappear into oblivion, so that one is actually a tad scarier, Ms. Whitmer.
“I’m encouraging people to cast an affirmative vote for President Biden,” Whitmer bellowed.
Of course you are. Because the alternative is supposedly far worse “foreign policy,” right?
Heck, it’s frankly amazing that an unexpected group has managed to become such a convincingly anti-Biden movement.
Per a report from The Hill, the new anti-Biden movement is apparently fixated on showing Biden how angry the wokest of woke are over his foreign policies.
Ironically, that movement happens to be taking the greatest hold in states that Biden cannot afford to lose, including Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
Little wonder Whitmer is ranting now.
“The Abandon Biden movement is focused on withholding votes from Biden in primaries in battleground states including Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, and Florida to empower pro-Palestine Americans to protest via ballot box,” the media outlet detailed.
Trump won every single one of the states listed in 2016, with the exception of Minnesota. How convenient that the “Abandon Biden” movement is targeting those states.
Hassan Abdel Salam, a rather vocal member of the Abandon Biden National Coalition, has been rather outspoken against Biden.
Conveniently, the mainstream media has been lapping up all his anger.
“He’s got to do the right thing for the party and for … the country itself, and he should step down as soon as possible,” Salam raged.
Millions of Americans definitely do not disagree.
Though other Dems do, of course.
“I understand the pain that people are feeling, and I will continue to build bridges with folks in all of these communities because they’re all important to me, they’re all important to Michigan and, I know, they’re all important to President Biden, as well,” Whitmer proclaimed.
Is that so? That sure wasn’t the attitude taken during endless COVID lockdowns … the mandates of which Ms. Whitmer herself violated.
