Woke comedians really go too far when they get away with blatant illegality on stage.
And that’s exactly what just happened with “comedian” John Oliver.
Oliver apparently can’t stand the thought of a black conservative, never mind a black conservative that actually follows the Constitution to the letter while sitting on the Supreme Court.
To the extent Oliver made Supreme Court Justice Thomas the center of a sick “joke” in a recent performance.
“Lot on your plate right now, from stripping away women’s rights to hearing January 6 cases … and you deserve a break, you know, away from the meanness of Washington … So you can be surrounded by the regular folks whose lives you made demonstrably worse for decades,” Oliver boomed.
Define “demonstrably worse,” Mr. Oliver.
More than one individual in the federal government has surely made Americans’ lives “demonstrably worse,” but Thomas most definitely is not one of them.
Oliver then launches into his brazen bribery scheme, which is completely illegal.
“Justice Thomas, we have a special offer for you tonight: We are prepared to offer you $1 million a year – for the rest of your life – if you simply agree to leave the Supreme Court immediately and never come back,” Oliver declared.
My oh my, what deep pockets the globalist puppets appear to have.
“So that’s the offer, $1m a year, Clarence. And a brand-new condo on wheels.
And all you have to do … is sign the contract and get the f–k off the Supreme Court. The clock starts now – 30 days, Clarence. Let’s do this!” Oliver roared.
Astonishingly, the “comedian” then had the nerve to reference Hitler in the same sentence as Thomas, illuminating a new low in ignorance, even for the left.
“I think you’re thinking, what would my friend say if I take this offer? Will they judge me as they sit in their boardrooms and mega yachts and Hitler shrines?” Oliver mockingly mused.
Pretty sure that Thomas’s friends wouldn’t give the time of day to such a useless “comedian” and his pitiable offer.
After all, preserving the integrity of the nation is priceless.
“Well, that’s the beauty of friendship, Clarence. If they’re real friends, they’ll love you no matter what your job is. So, I guess this might be the perfect way to find out who your real friends actually are,” Oliver continued.
Funny. The same could be said about the current White House, which will undoubtedly hurl Hunter under the bus if it means preserving their globalist puppet in power.
Needless to say, Oliver’s “comedy” was hardly met with delight from a number of different individuals.
“Under 18 U.S. Code § 201 John Oliver could be fined $3+ million for this bribery offer AND spend a maximum 15 years in federal prison,” proclaimed Alec Sears.
Had Oliver targeted some woke Obama appointee instead, he may well have actually faced such punishment.
Conservative radio host Mark Levin also illuminated how the comedian apparently can’t stand the fact that black conservatives, otherwise known as people who think, actually exist in decision-making capacities.
“A public bribe by a truly stupid comic-joke with a British accent who, for some reason, came to the United States to trash it. This jackass’s target continues to be Clarence Thomas because, you see, he is a black man who doesn’t fit Oliver’s stereotype and, therefore, must by regularly and repeatedly smeared. Rather than celebrating Thomas’s brilliance and achievements, Oliver and the other bigots have to try to destroy Thomas,” Levin remarked crossly.
Varied individuals online also noted the distinct irony in Oliver’s unilateral attacks.
“Gotta love liberals, they were perfectly fine when the SCOTUS leaned left and they were legislating from the bench. Now that it actually follows the constitution they cry and throw tantrums. Hilarious,” another individual drawled.
Indeed.
Thankfully, Thomas is leagues above Oliver in intellect.
As he already had a witty response prepared for the comedian, and other feckless critics, two years ago.
“I will absolutely leave the court when I do my job as poorly as you do yours,” Thomas declared.
Touché!
