Well done, “Brandon!”
No, not that “Brandon” … though Biden is doing plenty to anger a significant swathe of the nation.
In this case, “Brandon” is none other than the woke Chicago mayor, who apparently thinks that tripling down on the city’s “sanctuary” status is a good idea.
Even when it enrages the very individuals who elected him to power in the first place.
That’s right: Mayor Brandon Johnson has succeeded in enraging an array of Chicago activists, who have excoriated the woke leader for effectively replacing black citizens with illegal migrants.
In response to the woke city’s cash giveaways to illegals, the activists are also demanding an exemption from the $6,000 annual property taxes, especially in light of the fact that illegal migrants are apparently receiving upwards of $9,000 for rent and apartment furnishings.
Howard Ray, one of the more outspoken activists, is especially angered by the Democrats’ apparent coddling of illegal migrants, which comes at the expense of their attention towards black American citizens.
“They’re using our taxes to demise our communities … They’re using our taxes to support and advocate for the illegal immigrants. And in the meantime, we’re getting pushed out,” Ray raged.
Is that so? The Democrats are capable of using their constituents?
How shocking.
“We’re losing a lot of the black culture in Chicago … A lot of the blacks are moving out of Chicago because of crime and taxes … moving to the red states, the southern states. By not paying property taxes, (blacks) will be able to be saved,” Ray continued to rampage.
Way to indirectly endorse the vastly superior quality of life in red states.
Where costs are low and law enforcement protection is high, otherwise known as the antithesis to any entity led by a Democrat.
On top of that, red states are much friendlier to businesses.
“We’re trying to preserve the blacks to stay here’ in Chicago … We don’t want our people to leave this city. We built this city,” Ray continued angrily.
Alas, the Democrats could care less about history, given that some of them have even advocated destroying the Statue of Liberty.
All they care about is the next election cycle … That is, until they can thoroughly manipulate the system with impunity.
Ray is hardly the only black Chicagoan angry at Brandon for his pitiable coddling of illegal migrants.
“I don’t understand how they can give these immigrants thousands of dollars in the state of Illinois, but look what they’re doing to our own f——g people,” a female black resident raged in a video that has now been viewed tens of thousands of times.
Well, millions of Americans who work quite hard don’t understand a number of things about the Democrats, including their diehard obsession with DEI (or “DIE,” as Elon Musk humorously puts it).
“The fact they are here, and our government is giving more to them than to the people who were born here, is really starting to p–s us of … Mayor Brandon, we are coming for you’re a–,” the woman continued to rant.
By all means.
Meanwhile, when Johnson isn’t busy coddling illegal migrants, he’s ranting and raving against “evil-spirited” Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
“He is attacking democratically-run cities, and particularly cities that are being led by Black leaders or leaders-of-color. This is unconscionable. I mean, it’s a very raggedy approach. And quite frankly, not only is it reckless and raggedy, but it is evil-spirited,” Brandon angrily declared.
Actually, Brandon, what’s more “evil-spirited” is turning your back on your own people in favor of illegals.
Abbott protects his people. The same can hardly be said for woke, virtue signaling mayors.
