Looks like the ever-theatrical Judge Engoron may want to rethink his gleeful position after he proudly announced an excess of $355M in so-called “civil penalties” against Trump for more than one reason.
Which, per the ever-woke New York Times, may exceed $450M when accounting for interest.
The first reason that Engoron may want to rethink his glee was outlined by Trump himself.
“I paid approximately $300 million dollars in taxes as the migrants come in and take over New York, and they want me out,” Trump remarked in disbelief.
Indeed. Is it any wonder that such a huge civil judgment emerges against Trump, right as the city is desperate for more money to feed, house, and, apparently, temporarily jail illegals?
Alas, Democrats are hardly known for their prowess in mathematics. In particular those afflicted with a huge degree of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
However, Democrats are most certainly dependent upon feeding the hordes of illegals they eagerly welcome to their so-called sanctuary cities.
Too bad for them, a second reason highlighting the inanity of Engoron’s ruling has just emerged: the fact that Trump-supporting Americans, notably the hardworking, taxpaying variety, just might strike back.
Indeed, per social media user Chicago1Ray, multiple truckers have had it with the ultra-woke sanctuary city, especially after its insane “penalty” against Trump is merely a drop in the bucket of how much the illegals reallycost.
“I’ve been on the radio talking to drivers for the last hour, hour fifteen minutes … I’ve talked to at least ten drivers, they’re going to start refusing loads in New York City starting Monday,” Chicago1Ray declared.
Good for them! After all, given that many truckers are indeed contractors, they have the absolute freedom to decline dropping off loads in a rather ungrateful city.
“I don’t know how far across the country this is, or how many truckers are going to start denying loads to New York City … I tell you what, you f— around and find out. We are tired of you leftists f— ing with Trump. Motherf— ers are getting tired of this s–t,” Chicago1Ray continued.
You most definitely do not stand alone in this sentiment.
In fact, the ever-growing silent majority are right there with you, Chicago1Ray.
And, just in case the screeching Democrats claim that Chicago1Ray and his collaborators will face lost job opportunities … think again.
“Our bosses ain’t gonna care about these loads, we will just go somewhere else. Do you know how f—ing hard it is to get into New York City with one of these? I don’t wish nothing on nobody, but what I am hearing, this is real. We will see, leave Trump the f–k alone with the bulls—. It’s election interference,” Chicago1Ray added crossly.
Indeed.
According to data from Tollsmart, the “truck toll rates” for varied New York City bridges and tunnels, including Bayonne Bridge, George Washington Bridge, Holland Tunnel, and Lincoln Tunnel, are $100 during “peak hours.”
That’s right – one-hundred dollars during so-called “peak hours.”
Tolls during so-called “off peak hours” are discounted by a grand total of $5 … resulting in a $95 toll instead.
Why would any self-respecting contractor subject themselves to such outrageous tolls, which will only escalate as the illegal migrants multiply throughout the city?
Meanwhile, migrants reside for months in $700 per night hotel rooms in New York City … all at the taxpayers’ extent. They also now receive $1,000 monthly in cash for so-called “culturally relevant” items, as the food in the luxury hotels apparently isn’t good enough.
And, if that isn’t enough, more than one migrant is thriving off the “zero bail” policies extolled by ultra-racist DA Alvin Bragg, committing mass theft on top of receiving literally everything for free.
Little wonder that Americans who actually work have absolutely had it with the Biden-Harris-Obama regime.
“I hate to say it, but truckers are for Trump. Ain’t no mother–ers are for Biden,” Chicago1Ray proclaimed.
Especially after Biden brazenly influenced the feckless Prime Minister of Canada subvert the rights of the Freedom Convoy in 2022, another group of truckers who tired of the COVID-induced authoritarianism.
Indeed, Trudeau himself admitted as much.
“President Biden and I both agree that for the security of the people and the economy, these blockades cannot continue … Everything is on the table because this unlawful activity has to end – and it will end. Of course, I can’t say too much more now as to exactly when or how this ends because, unfortunately, we are concerned about violence,” Trudeau whined.
Is that so?
Curiously, Trudeau doesn’t appear nearly as concerned by the violence actually committed by BLM and Antifa.
Neither does Biden.
For that matter, Biden also doesn’t appear concerned by a little concept called freedom of assembly, which is absolutely enshrined in the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights.
Then again, what’s a little thing like the Constitution to Biden when he makes too much cash from selling out the nation to the highest bidder?
