VA Continues Sidelining Veterans In Favor Of Illegal Migrants

Looks like virtually all federal agencies, including Veterans Affairs, have become absolutely shameless when it comes to illegal migrants.

According to an exclusive Fox News report, the VA’s propensity for handing out medical freebies to illegals while continuing to delay actual American veterans is continuing to flourish, despite attention called to the issue months ago.

As a result, Senator Tommy Tuberville and Senator Mike Bost have actually introduced an act designed to combat such abuse of the VA system, known as the “No VA Resources for Illegal Aliens Act.”

Needless to say, it is pitiable, to say the least, that such an act has to be implemented in the first place, though it’s apparently necessary, as Tuberville recently relayed to Fox News.

“[Biden’s] decided, OK, we’ve got to feed all these 10 million people we’ve let come across the border, we’ve got to house them, and we’ve got to give them health care … They’ve opened up care from the doctors in these [VA] community care systems. The lines now in the VA’s are getting longer. Our funds that are supposed to go to the veterans are going to these illegal immigrants that are coming across,” Tuberville remarked.

Astonishing, really, just how much of the system the Dems will abuse to ensure a massive, illegal population, all to sustain their seemingly endless thirst for power.

To the extent actual veterans are sidelined for illegals, an issue that Tuberville has called attention to for months.

“Joe Biden is putting illegal immigrants over America’s veterans … It is outrageous. Our veterans should not be forced to wait in long lines at VA medical centers and clinics to get the care they EARNED while illegal immigrants waltz across our open border and get taxpayer-funded healthcare they NEVER earned,” the senator remarked in December.

The White House response? Crickets.

Hence the introduction of the titled “No VA Resources for Illegal Aliens Act,” which underscores the extent to which the current administration blatantly favors illegals.

“I think we’ve got a great opportunity to get this, maybe not to a vote, but at least where we discuss it on the floor, where the American people start to understand it … An election year is a great year to try to get some kind of bipartisan help on any type of bill, especially when it comes to the veterans. That means so much to us here in our country,” Tuberville mused.

One would only hope … though 22 Republicans also just effectively voted against border security and in favor of hurling billions more into Ukraine.

Tragically, the VA was already not able to provide care for all 19 million veterans currently seeking services, a situation that will only worsen with the illegal migrant fixation.

One former veterans affairs adviser also informed Fox News Digital that the agency has a bad “history of a backlog of medical claims which has resulted in veterans getting bills they shouldn’t be getting, and … having dissatisfied community care providers who are not getting paid in a timely manner.”

A situation that has clearly snowballed even since December.

More than one commenter was also aghast at the entire situation, as evidenced in bleak remarks.

“They think they have recruiting problems now. Wait until the fallout from this begins. When potential volunteers for service see the VA services repurposed from legal citizens that have honorably served this nation to lawbreakers the number of recruits will dwindle even more,” one individual observed.

Seriously.

It goes without saying that exactly none of the illegal migrants feel pressured to serve.

Frankly, why would they, when the Biden administration is handing them all benefits, notably benefits that not even Americans are eligible to receive, on a sparkling silver platter?

All off the taxpayers’ backs.
