Pro-Marxist Universities Walloped By GOP-Led Congress

What a way to end 2023!

Indeed, it’s about time Republicans scored a major win against ultra-woke, ultra-dangerous universities.

Indeed, this victory was long after due, and it is the direct result of the grilling Republicans gave to presidents of some of the most allegedly elite universities in the nation.

The presidents of Harvard, MIT, and UPenn all refused to affirm that calling for genocide of Jews was hate speech; they simply ducked the question and began rambling on about something else.

Scary stuff.

Which is why Representative Elise Stefanik, a long time MAGA advocate, immediately called for their resignation.

“Presidents of @Harvard @MIT and @Penn … REFUSE to say whether ‘calling for the genocide of Jews’ is bullying and harassment according to their codes of conduct. Even going so far to say it needs to turn to ‘action’ first. As in committing genocide. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND ANTISEMITIC. They must all resign immediately today,” Stefanik posted on X.

Amazingly, a MAGA wish was actually granted: UPenn President Liz Magill has apparently been informed that her services are no longer needed.

“Our Board has been, and remains, deeply concerned about the dangerous and toxic culture on our campus that has been led by a select group of students and faculty and has been permitted by University leadership,” the UPenn board wrote to Magill.

That’s one of the nicest ways of putting it.

The context for the letter is even more amazing: The board already met with Mahill , ostensibly to prep her for trial.

Even then, Mahill had to stick to her frightening rhetoric, very publicly, instead, just like Harvard President Claudine Gay.

Which the board also noted in its searing letter.

“As confirmed in your congressional testimony yesterday, the leadership of the University does not share the values of our Board,” the UPenn board continued.

That’s a huge relief. Maybe there is some hope for education after all, especially if boards continue to intervene so forcefully.

And, speaking of forceful, the university made no bones about its expectations for Mahill, following her abysmal testimony.

“As a result of the University leadership’s stated beliefs and collective failure to act, our board respectfully suggests to you and the Board of Trustees that the University requires new leadership with immediate effect,” the UPenn board demanded.

Billionaire Bill Ackman, who is utterly disgusted with pro-Palestine students, has also noted that Mahill would be asked to resign in the near-imminent future.

And, sure enough, that’s precisely what Mahill did … within all of 24 hours.

The great irony is that if Trump were to set foot on campus, there would be hysterical calls for him to be shut down, leaving university presidents’ “free speech” excuses rather empty.

Here’s hoping the forthcoming 2024 will be a new era in real higher learning across college campuses!
