FBI Flagged For Contempt Of Congress

When it rains, it pours!

Certainly the mindset prevailing across the FBI at the moment, given all the fireworks the agency has set off.

First, the FBI was found to be beyond corrupt with regards to its handling of alleged “Russian collusion,” to the extent the agency actually issued a statement after John Durham’s damning report.

Now, as the FBI continues to cover up the Bidens’ dirty business dealings, in the spirit of a true banana republic, it may find itself dealing with contempt of Congress.

As reported by Fox News, a number of Republicans are quite peeved that the FBI has blown off very legitimate inquiries regarding the ongoing investigation of Hunter Biden and his shameless “get rich quick” schemes.

And, of course, these activities were aided and abetted by the “America Last” president in the White House now, which is precisely why Republicans seek a document that alleges Biden agreed to $5M in an apparent “pay for play” deal.

Senator Chuck Grassley is certainly one of the peeved Republicans, as evidenced by recent public commentary.

“Director Wray confirmed what my whistleblowers have told me pursuant to legally protected disclosures: the FBI-generated document is real, but the bureau has yet to provide it to Congress in defiance of a legitimate congressional subpoena … This failure comes with consequences,” Grassley intoned ominously.

Indeed it does. Like being held in contempt of Congress.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, who has been spearheading the investigation, provided even more specifics of the FBI’s stomach-curling gymnastics to keep attention on the Bidens at bay.

“Today, FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national … However, Director Wray did not commit to producing the documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee,” Comer drawled.

So, in other words, the FBI blew off subpoenas as well. That’s nice.

“While Director Wray – after a month of refusing to even acknowledge that the form existed – has offered to allow us to see the documents in person at FBI headquarters, we have been clear that anything short of producing these documents to the House Oversight Committee is not in compliance with the subpoena,” Comer added.

It certainly is not in compliance. And it is certainly reflective of the same, tired, negative strategies that the FBI has been using for years.

And one of those strategies includes shamelessly long, insincere statements.

“During today’s call, Director Wray offered to provide the Committee’s Chairman and Ranking Member an opportunity to review information responsive to the subpoena in a secure manner to accommodate the committee, while protecting the confidentiality and safety of sources and important investigative sensitives,” the FBI drawled.

In other words, while “protecting” the business interests of the Bidens.

“The FBI has continually demonstrated its commitment to working with the Committee to accommodate its request, from scheduling briefings and calls to now allowing the Chair to review information in person. The FBI remains committed to cooperating with the Committee in good faith,” the FBI added smarmily.

“In good faith.” Right.

Put it this way: The FBI was more “committed” to Russian spies who told lies about Trump.

Who knows, perhaps the top dogs at the FBI are being paid off on the side, Biden style.
