DeSantis Decries Militarization Of Pronouns

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is just as opposed to the woke military as he is to woke corporations.

And that opposition is certainly an attractive quality of a potential presidential candidate.

As detailed by Daily Mail, DeSantis recently lamented the transformation of the military over a short period of time, given the proudness with which he looks back at his own service.

“I’m a Navy veteran, I was proud to have served. I served in Iraq, as was mentioned … I had a lot of opportunities in life, because I had worked hard to put myself in that position, starting off with very little,” DeSantis noted.

Indeed. Yet DeSantis, like many other Republicans, is the embodiment of the American dream, and all the potential it entails for those willing to work for it.

And for some, money is not the ultimate end game in the United States.

“I could have made a lot more money – but I wanted to serve. It was after September 11 and I thought it was the right thing to do. And, you know, it was something that I was very proud of … You can have all the money in the world, but that doesn’t match the satisfaction of being able to wear the cloth of your own country and serving a higher purpose,” DeSantis declared.

Exactly. If only the Pelosis, Clintons, Bidens, Obamas, and too many others to count focused their attention more on a higher purpose, rather than greater personal self-enrichment.

In particular a higher purpose that does not fixate on some transgender militant agenda.

Which irks DeSantis to no end, especially seeing its deleterious impact on the military.

“We look at our Military now and we see them getting caught up in political ideology, gender pronouns, talking about global warming … We need to reorient things like the Military back to its core mission,” DeSantis marveled.

Seriously. Like the core mission of protecting the nation, and its ironic tolerance for the transgender militants trying to destroy its military.

“People don’t want to be part of a woke military. They want to be a part of the military that has his eyes on the prize,” DeSantis added pointedly.

And boy, has the military ever lost its eyes on the prize.

Just consider the absurd advice given by the top brass at the U.S. Air Force, in a missive directed to leaders at Osan Air Base, South Korea.

“Do NOT use names or gender specific pronouns in your narratives … Look to replace he/she his/hers with – they (this one can be both singular and plural),” the missive angrily asserted.

Guessing the military would flip out knowing that one of the potential occupations on a Korean visa is “Housewife.”

Something suggests South Koreans are unimpressed by the militant agenda seeping through the American military.

Something suggests that traditional Americans are also deeply unimpressed.

“Is it any wonder why recruiting has suffered?” DeSantis chortled.

Is it any wonder, indeed.
