Amid all the current furor in the news surrounding Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s intentions to take on former President Donald Trump in 2024, another GOP contender has captured global attention.
In fact, Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina has certainly caught the attention of Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, and other outraged leftists who apparently find it hard to stomach that a passionate, black conservative views the nation from an entirely different perspective relative to their privileged perches.
After all, these talking heads on television contribute nothing but division, and they apparently become even angrier when someone clearly counteracts that narrative.
“I was very disappointed in Tim Scott saying that – using these buzzwords like ‘socialism,’ saying things like you shouldn’t really teach white children about racism because it makes them feel like oppressors. That’s sort of this Republican ideology right now … I was disappointed that he said America is not a racist country without also talking about the systemic racism that is plaguing this country,” Hostin raged.
Tellingly, Hostin and Goldberg, who are overpaid “commentators” generally fail to elaborate, at all, on what all the “systemic racism” may be, perhaps because they themselves appear to be token beneficiaries, much like the current White House Press Secretary.
Scott, on the other hand, believes in America and its potential, which means he will rapidly become a major enemy of the lamestream media.
“To the radical left that says we’re an evil, declining country, I say the truth of my life disproves your lies,” Scott proclaimed.
Indeed, does the truth of his life ever disprove them. After all, Scott, unlike Emperor Obama, did not grow up cloaked in privilege in Hawaii – on the contrary, he, much like Ben Carson, grew up struggling.
And both are resounding success stories today.
“Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country,” Scott proclaimed.
Amen! What a compelling message for the nation to get through its thick skull.
Short, simple … and accurate.
Scott also pulls no punches about his personal beliefs, making it clear that he is a firm believer in the gospel and self-defense.
“Meekness is not weakness. I believe in the Gospel. I believe Matthew 5:44 says ‘Love your enemies’ – [but] if you break in my house, I also believe in the Second Amendment,’” Scott proclaimed.
Yet another compelling message … and just imagine how different the nation might be today if these axioms were adhere to.
And, true to his word, Scott eschews personal attacks and instead focuses on dismantling the varied mistruths spread endlessly by the left.
“We have to ignore the far left by disproving their lies by our actions. Here’s the funny thing: The host, Sunny, she wants to be judged by the content of her character, not the color of her skin. The fact of the matter is America is a story of evolution – a never told story of evolution in too many of our schools that are indoctrinating our kids instead of educating our kids,” Scott asserted.
Yep. Indoctrinating them with the trans agenda, critical race theory, and pretty much every other subject guaranteed to make the United States one of the most sniveling nations on the planet.
Which is precisely why Scott, alongside other conservatives, is fervently in favor of school choice.
“Every parent who wants a choice. Look to the Republican Party. Look to the GOP, but more importantly, look at Americans, African-Americans, Hispanic Americans – the majority of Americans all agree on school choice,” Scott proclaimed.
Indeed they do.
And as the left can’t stand unity, it’s little wonder that they are already taking a huge issue with Scott.
“I was raised by a single mother in poverty. She taught me to have stubborn faith, faith in God, faith in ourselves, and faith in America,” Scott continued.
In other words, Scott is the embodiment of the American dream, and precisely why so many well-intentioned individuals, starting with the Founding Fathers, have crafted the nation into the tremendous success that it is today.
After all, no one is going to rise from poverty in most other nations and be a potential presidential candidate, yet here is Scott, despite all the leftist naysaying otherwise.
“I rose from a child of poverty to a candidate for president of the United States because we chose patriotism over pity, and to be victors, not victims,” Scott boomed.
Amen! And with that, Scott effectively destroys the entire platform of the Dems … which is solely based on victimhood (and corresponding government “assistance” funded by taxpayers).
Little wonder that Scott has hauled in a reported $2M within 24 hours of announcing his presidential run … and here’s hoping that his message resonates with voters low on hope.
