Dem Governor Blasts Biden For “Inadequate” Border Response

You know the White House is utterly ineffectual when Democrat governors begin to skewer the administration publicly.

Especially over highly contentious issues long raised by Republicans, notably the growing crisis on the border.

Alas, as Title 42 restrictions are lifted, it seems that Democrat governors along the border finally had to face the realities of rather ill-intentioned, highly corrupt open borders policies.

As detailed by the Daily Mail, none other than Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has blasted the Biden administration, along with DHS Secretary Mayorkas, neither of whom have bothered to answer her letters imploring for help at the border.

“As of today, we have not received an adequate response,” Hobbs remarked brusquely.

Tellingly, Hobbs didn’t even bother to write the apparently former Border Czar Kamala Harris, who would probably do nothing but cackle.

“We will continue to relentlessly pressure the federal government until we truly get the resources we need to manage the expected influx,” Hobbs continued dispiritedly, underscoring the degree to which the White House has done next to nothing for protecting border states.

The White House will, however, issue furious statements over Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for daring to keep their states as free as possible of illegal migrants, chiefly through sending willing migrants to sanctuary cities.

Needless to say, such misdirected fury does little in terms of real resources for border states.

“While we are prepared to take state action in any way we can, we cannot manage this influx alone … Without much more robust action from the federal government, the current situation will only get worse,” Hobbs added pointedly.

Quite remarkable that Hobbs is effectively making the same statement that countless Republicans have made for years.

It’s unfortunate that Hobbs didn’t bother to do so until the crisis reached its apex, however, as such vocal criticism of the White House could have been a lot more helpful much earlier.

Yuma County Mayor Doug Nicholls also echoed the concerns of Hobbs, noting the relentless surge of migrants ever since the Biden administration has widely publicized its intentions to give even more freebies to illegals, chiefly through lifting Trump Era Title 42 restrictions.

“This is not stopping any time soon and it’s troubling,” Nicholls remarked grimly.

Indeed.

Especially troubling that the utterly incompetent White House can’t even be bothered to help out governors who are otherwise (unwisely) loyal to the Biden regime.

Meanwhile, Republican governors have long since realized that Biden will do nothing of substance to assist at the border, which is precisely why they have taken matters into their own hands.

For instance, Abbott has sent several hundred National Guard members, which include several members of the Texas Tactical Border Force.

Meanwhile, DeSantis had additional funds greenlit for continuing migrant flights to sanctuary cities.

Hopefully, Hobbs, along with many others, will realize that the White House is completely indifferent to the crisis at the border.

After all, making Harris “Border Czar” alone should have been indicative of this reality.
