It isn’t often that Senators Bernie Sanders and Rand Paul see eye to eye, but they clearly have reached a point of commonality with regards to Big Pharma and its pernicious influence on America.
Granted, Sanders is obsessed with costs whereas Paul is obsessed with safety, but both obsessions led to a rather uncomfortable hearing for Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel, who was pummeled by both senators with a series of crucial questions.
On his part, Sanders was outraged against the elevated price of Moderna vaccines.
“And here is the thank you that the taxpayers of this country received from Moderna for that huge investment: They are thanking the taxpayers of the United States by proposing to quadruple the price of the Covid vaccine to as much as $130 once the government stockpile runs out – at a time when it costs less than $3 to manufacture the vaccine,” Sanders raged.
Take it up with Biden, Bernie.
Please inflame all the college kids again while you’re at it, potentially discouraging them from voting in 2024 at all if they insist upon mindlessly voting for the ultimate destruction of the nation.
On his part, Bancel insisted that the massive price increase is apparently due to the so-called reduction in “economies of scale.”
“The volume we had during the pandemic gave us economies of scale that we won’t have anymore. That is what is different,” Bancel insisted.
Right. How tedious, that good old fashioned legal rights intervened in the “economies of scale” Big Pharma was enjoying under vaccine mandates.
Talk about the ultimate pay for play.
The type of pay for play that Senator Paul absolutely pummeled.
“You think it creates a conflict of interest for the same people deciding the policy of how often we have to take the vaccine to also be making money the more times we take the vaccine?” Paul demanded.
Absolutely have to love Paul for his utterly unrelenting focus on corruption regarding public health, especially the collusion between Big Pharma and Big Brother.
Especially when such corruption can lead to real public health issues, as directly implied by Paul.
“Is there a higher interest or a higher incidence of myocarditis among adolescent males 16 to 24 after taking your vaccine?” Paul demanded.
Bancel gave a response typical of the dishonest White House press secretary, much to Paul’s chagrin.
“The data from the CDC actually have shown that there’s less myocarditis for people who get the vaccine versus who get COVID infection,” Bancel sniffed.
Quite the dodge, Bancel. Though, to be fair, he’s a tad more skilled than Chief Propagandist Jean-Pierre.
Moreover, Bancel was inaccurate in his facts anyway, which Paul pointed out.
“That is not true. And I’d like to enter into the record six peer-reviewed papers from the Journal of Vaccine, the Annals of Medicine that say the complete opposite of what you say,” Paul replied crisply.
And that’s when a real curveball was hurled: The fact that Paul was sitting on the real facts all along.
“I spoke with your president just last week, and he readily acknowledged, in private, that, yes, there is an increased risk of myocarditis. The fact that you can’t say it in public is quite disturbing,” Paul declared.
Insanely disturbing, especially as Big Pharma got even richer from mandated vaccines.
Truly, it isn’t even free market economics anymore when the government dictates one must obtain a shot; it is almost as though profits are guaranteed for Big Pharma.
And how lucrative that collusion can be.
As reported by Fierce Pharma, Moderna has made an absolute killing since the pandemic off of COVID vaccines, along with Big Pharma companies, in various “royalty” agreements with varied public health entities in the United States.
Just consider the most recent data from the company’s questionable earnings release.
“In Moderna’s earnings release … the company said it recently paid the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) a $400 million ‘catch-up payment’ under a new royalty-bearing license agreement between the parties. The payment is part of a license agreement between Moderna and NIAID inked late last year …
Going forward, Moderna agreed to pay NIAID ‘low single-digit royalties’ on COVID-19 vaccine sales,” the outlet announced.
All of the sudden, all those mandatory vaccines across multiple industries and federal agencies make a whole lot more sense.
What better way to guarantee “sales” to Big Pharma other than to effectively require consumers to take the shot?
Clearly, such collusion with the government is so pervasive that even Senators Sanders and Paul responded unfavorably to Bancel, a rare moment of bipartisanship between the two.
