FCC Gives Biden A Massive Wakeup Call

Looks like Biden’s buddies in Beijing won’t be too happy with the recent declarations of a key FCC Commissioner, who is decidedly unimpressed with the rampant rise of TikTok across the United States.

Not only does TikTok threaten American social media enterprises, but it poses such a grave national security threat that U.S. military personnel are banned from having the app on their phones.

The White House has adopted the opposite approach of the U.S. military, choosing instead to actually use the app to allegedly reach the youth of the nation.

However, FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr has made his views regarding the app crystal clear.

“I don’t believe there is a path forward for anything other than a ban,” Carr declared.

No kidding.

As Beijing effectively banned an objective investigation of its Wuhan Institute of Virology, it is quite clear that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) will hardly be trustworthy in matters of mobile applications.

Which Carr also noted.

“There simply isn’t a world in which you could come up with sufficient protection on the data that you could have sufficient confidence that it’s not finding its way back into the hands of the [Chinese Communist Party],” Carr added pointedly.

Lindsey Gorman, who serves as a senior fellow for the Alliance for Securing Democracy (ASD), details an explicit analogy that should give virtually all Americans, regardless of political persuasion, pause.

“If Russia had owned Facebook during 2016, the amount of influence that Russia could have exerted on American voters might have made that effort much, much more successful. That’s the vulnerability that we’re talking about with TikTok … And that vulnerability is too big to tolerate,” Gorman remarked ominously.

Absolutely.

Which is precisely why the Trump administration moved to ban both TikTok and WeChat in 2020, as Trump aimed to protect people’s data privacy as much as he aimed to protect the presently ailing border.

Aside from Biden, who continues to demonstrate bizarre loyalty towards the national security-threatening app, even some high-profile Democrats have taken issue with the app.

Democrat Senator Mark Warren, for instance, even admits that he agrees with Trump about the app, and it is a rare day indeed when any Democrat expresses gratitude for one of the (many) things Trump did for the nation.

“This is not something you would normally hear me say, but Donald Trump was right on TikTok years ago. If your country uses Huawei, if your kids are on TikTok … the ability for China to have undue influence is a much greater challenge and a much more immediate threat than any kind of actual, armed conflict,” Warren remarked.

However, the loudmouth extremists, including former President Barack Obama, opt to use TikTok for empowering their destructive candidates.

Which, in a way, makes their TikTok usage all the more appropriate.

Ironically, even the Washington Post admitted that TikTok tends to be strongly favored by Democrats, rather than Republicans.

“Democrats have been more likely to embrace the app, with 34 percent of candidates in Senate, House, governor and secretary of state races having TikTok accounts, according to the report. But 12 percent of Republican candidates in the same races also have TikTok accounts, the report says,” the outlet noted.

So, Democrat usage of TikTok outpaces Republicans by a nearly 3 to 1 ratio.

Hardly surprising.

Despite these troubling statistics, other Democrats have aligned more closely with Warren’s stance, including Representatives Adam Schiff and Lori Trahan.

The high-profile Democrats sent a letter to TikTok chief executive Shou Zi Chew, demanding to know more information regarding the social media giant’s usage of private data on its servers.

“We believe that TikTok needs to be more transparent about how the platform’s automated and human systems flag and remove content, and the effectiveness of their systems, especially regarding content related to the Midterm Elections,” the representatives asserted.

Despite growing calls from both Democrats and Republicans to ban TikTok, the Beijing-owned company appears completely nonplussed, choosing to effectively bash Carr rather than own up to its extremely troubling use of Americans’ personal data.

“Commissioner Carr has no role in the confidential discussions with the U.S. government related to TikTok and appears to be expressing views independent of his role as an FCC commissioner,” a TikTok representative sniffed.

Astonishingly, the Communist-owned platform went as far as to proclaim that it was “confident” it would sustain operations in the United States.

“We are confident that we are on a path to reaching an agreement with the U.S. Government that will satisfy all reasonable national security concerns,” the TikTok representative added pointedly.

“Confident,” huh?

Might that be because the son of the president profited off of Beijing to the tune of illegitimate millions … not to mention the “Big Guy” president himself?

Ironically, American social media giants’ efforts to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story may have a boomerang effect on their own revenues.

Given how actively Facebook suppressed Hunter’s connection to China, it is quite ironic that a Chinese-owned social media app is presently eating into Facebook’s revenues, as admitted by Zuckerberg himself.

Had Zuckerberg not openly meddled in a 2020 election, perhaps his net worth may have not tanked to the tune of tens of billions in the past year.
