Stacey Abrams Linked To Shady Billionaires

Stacey Abrams, who is gunning for the governorship in Georgia once again in 2022, has raised a staggering $50M in political donations.

However, according to a recent report from Axios, only 14 percent of the $50M, or roughly $7M, has been raised by Georgian donors.

Abrams allegedly raised part of the $7M from 30,000 Georgians, which is approximately double the number of contributors reported for incumbent Governor Brian Kemp’s campaign.

Kemp was unable to engage in fundraising activities for three months, namely when the state legislature was in active session.

On the contrary, a huge percentage of Abrams’s funds come from elitist billionaires, with an estimated $10M in donations originating from California alone. In addition, donations from Washington, D.C. and New York totaled $6.4M and $3.6M, respectively.

In addition, of the $7M raised in Georgia, about $1.5M originated from Fair Fight, which was a voting group founded by Abrams herself.

Abrams has also enjoyed a $2.5M donation from George Soros’s Democracy Pact, as well as a $200,000 donation from Melinda Gates, as reported by Breitbart.

In general, Abrams’s major donors have raised eyebrows about the potential influence they may have on the party, or state policies in general.

As observed by Kemp’s press secretary, Tate Mitchell, “Stacey Abrams’ campaign is bankrolled by out-of-state billionaires in California and New York and far-left radicals who want to bring the failed policies of Washington, D.C., to Georgia.”

Mitchell also added that Kemp remains proud of the fact “that an overwhelming majority of our campaign’s funds come from our state, and he’ll continue fighting to put Georgians and their families first.”

Abrams spokesman Alex Floyd declared that he was “proud to have more Georgia donors than any other candidate in this race.”

Floyd also took the opportunity to insult the incumbent governor, accusing him of rigging campaign finance laws.

“Even after Brian Kemp and his right-wing allies rigged … campaign finance laws to give himself unlimited money, our grassroots supporters have fueled our campaign from every corner of the state,” Floyd declared.
