Trump Issues A Winning Endorsement

Recently, former President Donald J. Trump issued a winning endorsement for Sheriff Joe Lombardo, who is currently running as a GOP candidate for the governor of Nevada.

The Clark County Sheriff is, per Trump, the clear “leader Nevada needs.”

“[Lombardo] has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Governor!” Trump declared, before delineating the various reasons as to why.

“As Governor, [Sheriff Lombardo] will fiercely … Secure our Elections, Protect Life, Veto any Liberal Tax Increase, Support our Law Enforcement, and Oppose Sanctuary Cities,” Trump remarked in a formal statement via his Save America PAC.

The former president also observed that Lombardo would also protect the Second Amendment, currently “under siege” from the White House.

In addition to serving as sheriff, Lombardo is also a U.S. Army veteran, as well as a member of the Nevada National Guard, as Trump observed.

“Joe joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in 1988,” Trump proclaimed, and “[he] has bravely served and protected the people of Nevada for the past 34 years.”

Giving Lombardo credit for “[fighting off] some of the worst criminals,” as well as “[defending] communities and neighborhoods from horrific violence,” Trump declared that Lombardo is well-positioned to fight back against “the Radical Left.”

Currently, two other candidates are opposing Lombardo: Las Vegas City Councilwoman Michele Fiore and former Senator Dean Heller, both of whom had been seeking Trump’s endorsement.

Whoever wins the GOP primary will imminently face off with the current governor of Nevada, Governor Steve Sisolak. Sisolak is a representative of the Democrat Party.
