Federal Judge Jettisons Biden’s Border Plans

In spite of all the constant chaos that has unfolded on the world stage in the past few weeks, from Putin continuing to direct an invasion of Ukraine to the Easter Bunny continuing to direct the path of Biden, a few fantastic stories have surfaced, cheering long-beleaguered conservatives.

Fortunately, the past couple of weeks have presented multiple opportunities of relief, at least in terms of the White House blissfully being put in its place after more than a year of seriously authoritarian overreach.

Even better, the White House has been put in its place specifically over the source of the overreach in the first place: the COVID-19 pandemic.

First, U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle in Florida, unsurprisingly a pro-America Trump appointee, smacked down the ongoing federal mask mandates, prompting multiple airlines, along with the TSA, to rescind their own mask mandates, which they have clearly become sick of enforcing.

Probably even more sick of enforcing than people are of wearing, actually, as the enforcers have had to wear miserable masks themselves.

Of course, the Biden administration has vowed to fight back against mask mandates, if only to reinforce the senseless authority that the CDC, along with Fauci, were endowed with in the first place.

Now, U.S. District Judge Robert Summerhays of Louisiana, another Trump appointee, has crushed Biden’s plans to make the border even more porous, chiefly by granting a request to extend Title 42.

The ruling was in response to a lawsuit launched by 21 states regarding the White House’s imminent plans to lift restrictions at the border.

That decision has been met with immense relief from several conservatives, in particular conservatives from states heaving under the ongoing border crisis.

“We applaud the Court for approving our request for a Temporary Restraining Order to keep Title 42 in place. The Biden administration cannot continue in flagrant disregard for existing laws and required administrative procedures,” Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich declared.

Other Republican governors chimed in.

“In a lawsuit originally filed by Missouri, Louisiana, and Arizona, our Office just obtained a temporary restraining order to keep Title 42 in place. This is a huge victory for border security, but the fight continues on,” Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt declared.

“A step in the right direction. Keeping Title 42 will ensure our already overrun border doesn’t collapse completely,” Texas Senator Ted Cruz added.

Of course, the White House is likely huffing and puffing over this ruling as well, especially since it’s one of the many ways in which Trump has triumphed under Biden.

What will be interesting, however, is if Biden tries to sic the DOJ on this ruling, as he’s already done with the ruling on mask mandates for Americans.

As such an attack would clearly demonstrate that the White House clearly favors illegals over Americans.

It is simply not possible to demand Americans wear masks on planes while also demanding illegals should be subject to zero COVID restrictions when entering the nation, which is effectively what removing Title 42 would entail.

However, the clueless White House might just take such an asinine approach, which more than one American wouldn’t be surprised by, considering that many already believe that Biden is intentionally weakening the border.

“The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the Biden administration is purposefully encouraging illegal immigration, while 34% disagree and 15% are not sure,” Rasmussen reported.

As Trump would say: Sad!
