Raging Inflation Roars To New Heights

In case you were wondering why Milley was blaring on and on about the prospect of Ukraine becoming a “years long” conflict, wonder no more.

After all, the White House now has the laziest, most convenient excuse in the world with regards to why it no longer feels compelled to keep the economy under control.

Apparently, the reason why inflation is so out of control now, per the “wisdom” of the White House, can be attributed to Putin.

In fact, Press Secretary Psaki finally has what she’s always craved, which is clearly to have an easy phrase to rely upon and refer to over and over again, as thinking on her feet is clearly not her strong suit.

Actually, thinking at all is not her strong suit, which is not much of a surprise when contrasting Psaki’s educational history with Kayleigh McEnany’s.

Hint: McEnany has a vastly more impressive educational background, which was reflected in her deft replies to the press.

Meanwhile, Psaki relies upon trite phrases that aren’t even accurate, such as the “Putin price hike.”

“Because of the actions we’ve taken to address the Putin price hike, we are in a better place than we were last month,” Psaki sniffed, “But we expect March CPI headline inflation to be extraordinarily elevated, due to Putin’s price hike.”

Yes, that’s right: Psaki actually repeated “Putin’s price hike” twice.

Real intelligent, not to mention super flimsy.

Despite the fact that gas prices, alongside the consumer price index (CPI) have risen steadily ever since Biden assumed power in the most militarized swearing in ceremony in the nation’s history, Biden apparently thinks that Putin is the sole, or at minimum, primary cause for the economic pain that Americans are feeling now.

In fact, the Biden regime has just set another dubious record, as inflation skyrocketed yet again in March, the fastest rate of increase in well over four decades.

In addition, a Breitbart report reveals that energy prices have soared by a staggering 32 percent since the Democrats assumed control of the nation.

Moreover, in keeping with the illustrious record-breaking that the Biden administration has achieved for all the wrong reasons, energy prices increased by 11.4 percent between February and March alone.

Humorously, Biden has seized on this time period in particular as a so-called explanation for skyrocketing gas prices, all while conveniently ignoring the fact that he killed the Keystone XL pipeline as soon as he arrived into office.

By killing the pipeline, he effectively killed America’s energy independence and bred greater dependency upon Russian energy.

And as much as he insists that Putin is to blame for everything, Biden is the one who empowered Putin from Day 1, chiefly by killing the Keystone XL pipeline that would have made Putin far less powerful in the first place.

As energy prices skyrocketed, so did the cost of transporting goods, which in turn was passed down to consumers.

Too bad that the White House, as usual, has no substantive response, rather just a sea of generalities that inspire and encourage no one.

“I will say that anytime there’s heightened monthly data or inflation reporting numbers, it is a reminder to us, our allies on the Hill and hopefully to many of the American people that we need to do more to reduce costs for the American people,” Psaki blared.

Her solution? More government spending …
