By now, Hollywood is vastly more offended by DeSantis’s latest efforts to protect children than they are by Will Smith’s all-too-convenient slap, which has served as an immense distraction over the past 48 to 72 hours or so.
Then again, they all gave him a standing ovation 15 minutes later, so that shows how “offended” they really are by violence, as in not at all offended, unless it’s politically expedient, of course.
Like anyone really cares what some woke, overprivileged, and ultimately uninspiring Hollywood celebrity does at this point.
Now, however, all the self-righteous leftists, who collectively possess less intelligence than a singular lemming from old school computer games, have turned their wrath on DeSantis, who, like always, rolls with the punches.
And he won’t compromise on protecting children, which is precisely why he is angling towards revoking Disney’s special, rather elitist, “self-governing” status.
“Six months ago, it would have been unthinkable that [state legislators] would be willing to reevaluate those special privileges,” DeSantis declared, “I think they are going to do that now, and that’s going to represent a major shift for our state.”
Exactly. A shift away from the deadly snare of wokeness, which disavows gender and declares all diversity must be accepted, aside from a remotely conservative political ideology, not to mention a preference for nuclear family.
“Look, there’s policy disputes, and that’s fine,” DeSantis continued, “but when you’re trying to impose a woke ideology on our state, we view that as a significant threat.”
You could say that again, especially when factoring in other monstrous governors who have become a little too addicted to power in the wake of COVID.
Chief among them Governor Gavin Newsom, who is apparently in a competition with Governor Gretchen Whitmer and others to be the most authoritarian.
However, DeSantis has his eyes on Biden, who is clearly completely and totally checked out from reality.
“You know, not just this, the vax mandates, the border, all those things. And I think that’s what people want to see. Because I think Biden is really out of control. He’s clearly not in command of the White House,” DeSantis remarked.
You could say that again.
Which is precisely why sane Democrats, notably Tulsi Gabbard, have come to bat for DeSantis, fully aware of the absurdity that characterizes most woke ideology.
“Now we should all the support the Parental Rights in Education bill that recently passed in Florida, which very simply bans government and government schools from indoctrinating woke sexual values in or schools to a captive audience,” Gabbard remarked.
Exactly. Who on earth would be offended by schoolteachers being banned from discussing transgender “rights” with 5-year-olds?
Pretty pathetic such legislation has to be created in the first place.
“A captive audience that is by law required to attend,” Gabbard added wryly, in reference to many states’ truancy laws.
Ultimately, Gabbard rejects the radical ideology that has progressively suffocated the Democrat party, including the fact that parents apparently don’t have a right to their own children.
“Parents should raise their kids, not the government,” Gabbard proclaimed.
Exactly. Especially since BLM, which was unsurprisingly busted buying another mega mansion with “donations,” has expressed its clear aversion to the nuclear family and apparently a desire for the whole world to live as a giant hippie community.
The catch is that the BLM leaders and their ilk live in mansions while all their underlings live in lockdown.
Of course, saying anything to that effect will immediately result in accusations of “racism.”

“This wokeness will destroy this country if we let it run unabated,” DeSantis concluded, “so in Florida, we take a very big stand against that.”
One can only hope that someone with the spirit of DeSantis will take back control of the nation in 2024.
