One would think that Biden would muster up whatever dwindling reserves he has in order to at least feign a brave face for the world, especially over the weekend as Putin’s relentless attacks upon Ukraine intensified.
Alas, Biden and his wife elected to return to Delaware for yet another weekend vacation while war in Europe rages.
Just imagine if Trump decided to tee off in Mar a Lago while Putin was invading.
Then again, Putin likely wouldn’t have invaded in the manner that he has under Trump, especially considering how weak Trump’s chief competitor in 2020 was.
Which more than one media outlet has observed in the past several weeks. Or months.
Or, in more salient cases, years.
In a rather telling tweet, The Hill declared, “President Biden arrives back at the White House after spending the weekend in Delaware. Biden did not stop to answer questions from reporters about the conflict in Eastern Europe.”
In other words, despite another superpower literally threatening nuclear war, Biden apparently can’t be deigned to talk to the pesky press.
In all likelihood because Biden has absolutely nothing of substance to respond to Putin with, aside from more sanctions, which is probably why he was hiding in Delaware in the first place.
One thing is for sure: An anonymous Ukraine official, who spoke openly to The Daily Wire, proclaimed that both Obama and Biden are to blame for the current catastrophe, at least in terms of emboldening Putin to initiate the devastation.
“The Obama-Biden administration has refused lethal aid to Ukraine for a long time,” the official told the Daily Wire under the condition of anonymity. “It was [former President Donald] Trump who was the first to provide some Javelins to Ukraine, then Biden started sending Javelins in mass just before invasion. But too little, too late.”
In other words, had Trump remained in power, at least two humanitarian crises could have been avoided in 2021 and 2022: First, Afghanistan. Second, Ukraine.
Unfortunately, about 60 million (who knows the real number) woke Americans decided it would be a great idea to vote for someone not only terrified of leaving his basement, but apparently terrified of keeping sanctions in place during his first day in office.
In other words, Biden gave it all away on the first day.
“Biden’s first step in office was to lift sanctions on Nord Stream 2. Now he applies them heavily. Now it’s too late,” the Ukrainian official continued, “if Democrats did not play into the weak policy of not sending weapons to Ukraine and lifting sanctions on Nord Stream 2, Putin would probably think twice or three times. Also, we never understood why would Biden say that no U.S. troops would be involved. Even if he did not intend to, why say it when no one asked? At least [he] could have speculated on the possibility to deter an attack.”
“Weak policy.” That’s right. Biden in a nutshell.
Why can Ukrainians see so clearly what Whoopi Goldberg and her ilk clearly can’t? Then again, from her ultra-privileged position, which she only enjoys due to traits she was born with courtesy of affirmative action, perhaps Goldberg is better off commiserating with whining Joy Behar and other self-indulgent leftists on the terminally excruciating “The View.”
Though what might be even more excruciating include the guidelines from the federal government regarding proper behavior in bomb shelters.
Believe it or not, the federal government is literally continuing to advocate social distancing, even in the event of actual nuclear war.

“Go to the basement or middle of the building. Stay away from the outer walls and roof. Try to maintain a distance of at least six feet between yourself and people who are not part of your household,” Ready.gov warns, “if possible, wear a mask if you’re sheltering with people who are not a part of your household. Children under two years old, people who have trouble breathing, and those who are unable to remove masks on their own should not wear them.”
Well then. If everyone socially distances and wears a mask, they’re apparently immune to the radiation from a nuke.
Amazing how such powerful masks failed to prevent the spread of the common cold, otherwise known as the “omicron variant” to the media.
Though something suggests concerns over COVID are going to grind to a halt, as times of war mean that Democrats could theoretically attempt to grab even more power.
