Paxton Takes Aim At Preposterous Mandate

In light of numerous Canadian provinces wisely dropping COVID mandates in response to the Freedom Convoy, Texas AG Ken Paxton has decided to launch yet another lawsuit against the Biden administration for its own egregious intrusion into individuals’ private lives.

Not to mention its egregious violation of checks and balances, which is especially evident considering the rather lawless ways in which the Biden administration went about implementing its mandates.

“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) mandate was unlawfully issued,” Paxton proclaimed, “it was not authorized by Congress, and the CDC did not put the mandate up for notice and comment, which is ordinarily required for regulations like this.”

In other words, the Biden administration became a mini-dictatorship over COVID, just like Xi of China wanted. Biden fell right in line, though with a son like Hunter, perhaps he had no “choice.”

Though he did “choose” to run for president, however … despite knowing his son’s dangerously irresponsible antics abroad.

“Yet a person’s failure to comply with the Administration’s mask mandate carries criminal penalties,” Paxton continued, highlighting the hilarious double standard for Democrats and pretty much everyone else.

However, it is not yet illegal to launch lawsuits against Democrats, which is why Paxton trumpeted the 22ndlawsuit against the White House on Twitter.

“Just filed my 22nd suit against Biden, this time regarding anti-science, virtue-signaling masks on airlines & airports. Masks on planes are not only silly, but illegal too. Proud to join @TPPF, @robhenneke, @Bethvanduyne in restraining Dems’ lawless gov’t. End the mask mandates!”

Twitter has yet to fact-check Mr. Paxton on the 22nd lawsuit, or perhaps the platform is too embarrassed by the candidate it essentially swept into office, which is how Biden afforded to campaign from his basement.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis also stands strong, right alongside Ken Paxton, noting that the “political science,” rather than the real science, has changed.

“The science has not changed one iota,” DeSantis declared, “we knew from the beginning, and that’s why Florida never imposed a forced masking policy on school children, and that’s why we fought to liberate the kids from the forced masking that was done on the local level because there was never a justification for it.”

Humorously, Florida also experienced dramatically lower hospitalization rates, not to mention a vastly superior economy, than New York and California.

However, even leftists secretly know this, given the mass exodus from California to Texas and the mass exodus from New York to Florida.

What they say in public is often belied by where they choose to live in private.

DeSantis certainly knows that talk is cheap, which is precisely why he underscores the lies long told by the Democrats.

“So when you start to see them kind of reevaluate or say all this, just understand this,” DeSantis warned, “the science didn’t change. The medical science didn’t change. The political science changed. They feel the heat. They know that voters have been tired of perpetual lockdown policies.”

Fortunately for Canadians, their leaders are getting the hint sooner than bungling Biden, as evidenced by Quebec Premier Francois Legault’s response to Trudeau’s ill-planned “Emergencies Act.”

“I think that I was very clear with the prime minister that the federal Emergencies Act should not, must not apply in Quebec,” Legault declared, “we don’t have any problems in Quebec so far. The Sureté du Québec has everything under control.”

In other words, Trudeau is another empty suit who is all too eager to become a dictator, showing his real values as a “leader.”

“I think that at this moment, it would not help the social climate,” Legault continued, “there’s a lot of pressure right now, and I think we have to be careful. We really don’t need to throw oil on the fire.”

Thank you, Premiere Legault … now if only the American president would wake up.
