Biden has delivered a few disastrous press conferences, as well as public appearances, in the past several months, which is undoubtedly why he spends so much time hiding in Delaware.
However, the latest press conference really takes the cake, which is even more troubling considering the astronomically low “standards” that Biden is held to by the feckless media.
After all, the nation is currently dealing with a president that is photographed mask-less in closed spaces that require masks, only for the same president to follow up with PR shots on an empty beach wearing a mask.
As if that’s really doing anything aside from implicitly admitting yet another screwup to the American public, not to mention an implicit suggestion that masks really don’t protect against the virus that much.
However, in a united nation, people generally smile at one another, and since the Democrats appear intent on division, is it any wonder that that they want people to wear masks endlessly?
After all, more than one study has revealed that masks apparently empower people to become meaner, which would certainly suggest why leftist cities are especially enthusiastic about now-ineffectual mask mandates.
Worst of all, the fact that the nation remains so fixated on masks, in between abolishing the electoral system and ramping up trillions more in government spending, apparently, means that the nation is also grossly distracted from rather critical international matters.
Including the fact that the Biden administration apparently greenlit a “minor” invasion of Ukraine.
“I think what you’re going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades, and it depends on what it does,” Biden declared, “it’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and we end up having to fight about what to do and not to do.”
In a word … Wow.
What president on earth says that “a minor incursion” is apparently acceptable? How does Biden think World War I, and for that matter, World War II began? Was the entire planet suddenly engulfed in warfare, or did a “minor incursion” potentially trigger the entire global crisis?
Needless to say, more than one critic, not to mention somewhat reliable news sources, appear beyond confused by Biden’s open kowtowing to Putin.
“Biden just appeared to okay a ‘minor’ Russian incursion of Ukraine. So, invasion of an independent neighbor nation is bad. An incursion is OK with this president,” Andrew Malcolm, a conservative commentator, remarked in disbelief.
Well, that would certainly explain why Chuck Schumer is shamelessly using the filibuster to block a bill from Senator Ted Cruz, with the latter recently introducing a bill that ensures the harsh sanctions on Russia that Biden loves to bang on about.
If only Biden would actually follow through, instead of apparently supporting the Democrats filibustering behind the scenes to make sure Putin doesn’t face sanctions.
And Dems love to say Trump colludes with Russia?
Biden’s press conference would have been disastrous with his Russia remarks alone, but in the typically “Go Big or Go Home” far left approach adopted by Biden, he made several other remarks that critics also widely panned.
Moreover, he also delivered several rather vicious replies to reporters who dared to question him on, you know, reality.
“You campaigned, and you ran on a return to civility. And I know that you dispute the characterization that you called folks who would oppose those voting bills as being Bull Connor or George Wallace. But you said that there would be sort of in the same camp?” Philip Wegmann, a brave reporter from RealClearNews, queried.
“No, I didn’t say that. Look what I said,” Biden snarled, “Go back and read what I said and tell me if you think I called anyone who voted on the side of the position taken by Bull Connor that they were Bull Connor?”
Well then. That was an awfully abrasive retort from such a supposedly mild-mannered politician.
Not to mention a snarky one, considering Biden’s additional commentary.
“And that is an interesting reading of English,” Biden roared, “yeah, I assume you got it in the journals because you like to write.”
“Assumed,” huh? Aren’t “assumptions” the basis of all the “racism” Democrats claim to hate?
Regardless, it’s pretty bad when a president can’t keep his cool with a reporter.
Especially when considering the same president attempting to stand up to Putin …
