Looks like Twitter is starting off the year with a fresh stab at free speech suppressing, given the actions that the platform just took against Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Specifically, Twitter decided it would be a good idea to levy its fifth and final strike against Greene, which permanently bans the political representative from the platform.
In other words, Greene now sits in the exact same boat that Trump sits: permanent exclusion from Twitter, which is effectively silencing both individuals’’ right to free speech.
The Taliban likely still has access to its Twitter accounts, however, along with pretty much every despot on the planet.
And why exactly was Greene permanently banned from the platform, or what remark earned her the dreaded “fifth strike?”
Apparently, Twitter didn’t like the fact that Greene suggested a correlation between an uptick in vaccines and deaths that could be attributed to adverse effects from the vaccines, which admittedly made their way to the market a tad quickly.

Upon making this remark, Twitter decided that Greene is apparently too dangerous to have any further access to the platform, which is especially clear when reviewing the commentary of a Twitter spokesperson who lambasted Greene for her supposed spread of COVID-related “misinformation.”
“We permanently suspended the account you referenced (@mtgreenee) for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy. We’ve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy.” [Source: Townhall]
Heaven forbid any possible “misinformation” spread about COVID, which has rapidly equipped the Democrats with an arsenal of authoritarian power, much of which was previously a mere pipe dream, at best?
Now, given that COVID has endowed Democrats with seemingly limitless power, of course the party has zero interest in letting COVID hysteria die down.
Too bad for the Democrats that their obsession with restricting any form of debate on COVID merely reveals their enormous hypocrisy in other areas, especially when they flagrantly ignore threats from their own representatives that take place across Twitter.
“Maxine Waters can go to the streets and threaten violence on Twitter, Kamala and Ilhan can bail out Black Lives Matter terrorists on Twitter, CNN and the rest of the Democrat Propaganda Media can spread Russia collusion lies, and just yesterday the Chief spokesman for terrorist IRGC can tweet mourning Soleimani, but I get suspended for tweeting VAERS statistics. Twitter is an enemy to America and can’t handle the truth.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
Amen! Twitter’s “misinformation” policy undoubtedly springs in part from a deep-seated fear of the truth, which is especially undeniable when considering how Twitter handled the coverage of Hunter Biden.
Fortunately, other platforms will not only permit Greene to engage with her followers, but also encourage her to do so. One such platform is Gab, whose CEO Andrew Torba openly welcomes Greene and her views
“Thankfully Congresswoman Greene was smarter than many of her colleagues because she got on Gab over a year ago and built up a tremendous following of hundreds of thousands of people …
Her ban from Twitter should come as no surprise. Once Twitter crossed the Rubicon and banned a sitting President there was nothing stopping them from banning each and every Republican from the platform without thinking twice.” [Source: Breitbart]
Through platforms such as Gab, Greene is free to continue discussing the various issues that she perceives with the United States, just as AOC and other virulent members of the so-called “Squad” are allowed to ramble on and on about their own seemingly endless problems with the land of the free.
Most of all that the land remains free, at least for now.
In the meantime, representatives such as Greene will keep freedom at the forefront of their political focus: defeating enemies of freedom.
“That’s fine, I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies.” [Source: Fox News]
Now that is an attitude to start 2022 with …
