Biden’s G20 Summit Burns Bridges Faster Than Fossil Fuels

Looks like Biden and his entourage have decided it’s a great time to flee the nation and preen on the global stage, in spite of the fact that inflation is spiraling out of control and the borders remain as porous as ever.

In fact, in light of the fact that the Biden administration is reportedly willing to pay illegal migrants up to $450,000 or more for alleged family separations at the border, it seems unlikely that the chaos at the border will diminish anytime soon.

Not that the Biden administration will care much, considering that they are currently gallivanting about Europe and the United Kingdom like the delightful global elitists they’ve all transformed into over the years.

In fact, they are apparently so elite that they have zero qualms about arriving a reported 20+ minutes late to just about every pointless G20 summit, with some rather ridiculous excuses for the tardiness.

Just consider the excuse below, from Biden himself.

“I apologize to keep you waiting … We were playing with elevators. Long story, anyway.” [Source: Fox News]

Playing with elevators? What are they, five years old?

Then again, one would expect totalitarian Democrats to be extra gleeful over the degree to which they’re presently punking the United States of America.

In fact, given the rather obvious disconnect in Biden’s “speech” when he did arrive, it would have been better had he just kept “playing with elevators” rather than actually addressing the world.

Especially when the address is utterly devoid of originality.

“The existential threat to humanity is climate change … In a few days, I am headed to @COP26 in Glasgow to demonstrate a commitment to the world that we will get to a net-zero emissions economy no later than 2050.” [Source: Fox News]

“A commitment to the world?”

Someone should inform Biden that rolling up to a G20 summit with an 85-car motorcade is not exactly the best way to arrive at “a net-zero emissions economy.”

One online critic neatly summarized Biden’s absurd entourage, particularly relative to his ranting and raving about carbon emissions.

“#Decarbonize this.” [Source: The New York Post]

Seriously …

Lisa Boothe, a Fox News contributor, also noted the preening hypocrisy in Biden’s rather eye-popping entourage, remarking that the current administration is the literal embodiment of “limousine liberal.”

“The issue of climate change is a limousine liberal issue … The Republican Party has turned into the party for the American worker, and Democrats are the party for coastal elites. This issue alone underscores that point.” [Source: Fox News]

Absolutely. Biden is fine with killing the Keystone XL pipeline, all in the name of environmentalism, though such environmental concerns mysteriously fly out the window when Biden himself travels.

Aside from the 85-strong clown car brigade, it is highly likely that Biden and Co. did not elect for commercial air transport, and one can only imagine how many fossil fuels were burned on the private jets … in addition to the 85-car motorcade.

Matt Finch of the Transport and Environment campaign group underscored just how wasteful the so-called environmentalists truly are, especially when they have the gall to lecture Americans about daring to use fossil fuels.

“It can’t be stressed enough how bad private jets are for the environment, it is the worst way to travel by miles. Private jets are very prestigious but it is difficult to avoid the hypocrisy of using one while claiming to be fighting climate change …

To put it in context, the total carbon footprint of an ordinary citizen – including everywhere they travel and everything they consume – is around eight tonnes a year … So an executive or politician taking one long haul private flight will burn more CO2 than several normal people do in a year.” [Source: Breitbart]

On top of Biden’s own nonsense, upwards of one-third of the Cabinet is presently across the pond, demonstrating essential abandonment of Americans in favor of more pomp and glitz (coupled with zero real work).

Thus, it is no surprise that Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg apparently found time to actually “work” overseas (with a global audience) during his so-called paternity leave.

Apparently, he can’t be bothered to make an appearance for Americans, though he can certainly hop on a jet across the Atlantic Ocean … While the Pacific Ocean remains littered with cargo ships, no thanks to Buttigieg’s complete incompetence.

Needless to say, Republicans are not terribly amused by the face of the Biden administration, including Senator John Barrasso (R-WY).

“The policy priorities of the Biden administration are far out of step with those of the American people. While the president and almost half of his Cabinet are soaring off to Scotland, most Americans would like to see a plan to deal with soaring inflation and skyrocketing energy costs.” [Source: Fox News]

Completely and totally out of step, especially when issues at home show no signs of abating.

One thing is for certain: As maddening as the behavior of Biden and his entourage may be, it will certainly do no favors for the Democrats in 2022 …
