While most of the world is likely suspecting that Biden has been stage-managed from Day 0, John Kerry just essentially admitted Biden’s puppet status to an international audience.
Yet another shining example of the Biden administration’s competency.
However, at least this particular incompetency has been a boon for conservatives, who have long called out Biden’s presidency for exactly what it is: an astonishing display of incompetence, the likes of which American history has likely never witnessed.
France has been reportedly enraged at the United States after Australia ditched its plans to partner with France and selected the United States instead for a submarine partnerships, which is reportedly designed to combat Beijing.
In fact, the nation was so enraged it has recalled ambassadors from both Australia and the United States, issuing a scathing commendation of both allies.
As noted by Jean-Yves Le Drian, the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the nation decided to recall its ambassadors after the United States’ “unacceptable” behavior.
“At the request of President Macron, I have decided to immediately recall our ambassadors to the United States and Australia to Paris for consultations …
The abandonment of the ocean-class submarine project that Australia and France had been working on since 2016 and the announcement of a new partnership with the United States aimed at studying the possibility of future cooperation on nuclear-powered submarines constitute unacceptable behavior among allies and partners.” [Source: Fox News]
Kerry, who was conducting an interview with a French news organization, made a lame attempt to avoid France’s wrath, namely by rambling on and on about how the United States and France can work on “the bigger issues.”
These issues include (you guessed it) the ever-vague term “climate” (what happened to “climate change?”) and the completely bizarre “economic dislocation of the world,” whatever that is supposed to mean.
“President Biden looks forward to meeting with President Macron and I’m absolutely confident that the bigger issues that we have to work on about nuclear weapons, about cyberwarfare, about climate, about the economic dislocation of the world, about the challenges of the less developed world, we have a lot of work to do and we can’t get lost in a, you know, a momentary event that I think we will get past very quickly …”[Source: The Daily Wire]
Needless to say, the interviewer was not going to let Kerry off so easily (after all, no one but Biden gets to pre-approve press questions, apparently).
And the interviewer went straight for the bullseye: Biden’s involvement with the failed submarine deal.
Kerry’s response?
Astonishingly, Kerry essentially admitted that Biden was unaware of France’s rage, which not only means he’s totally checked out as president, but also apparently checked out from media channels as well.
“He asked me. He said, ‘what’s the situation?’ and I explained exactly, uh. He wasn’t, he had not been aware of that. He literally had not been aware of what had transpired and I don’t want to go into the details of it, but suffice it to say, that the president, my president is very committed to strengthening the relationship and making sure that this is a small event of the past and moving on to the much more important future.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
So, Kerry explained “exactly, uh.” How impressive.
To be fair, however, that is probably one of the most truthful statements Kerry made, as he does tend to offer half-baked explanations (at best) for his recurrent private jet use while serving as “Climate Czar.”
And of course Kerry doesn’t “want to go into details.” After all, Biden’s presidency is a sham in more ways than one.
However, Kerry’s commentary raises other concerns, such as whether or not Biden is aware of how dangerously overheated inflation is, which will become significantly aggravated by additional federal spending.
As Senator Manchin pointed out.
“With the recession over and our strong economic recovery well underway, I am increasingly alarmed that the Fed continues to inject record amounts of stimulus into our economy by continuing an emergency level of quantitative easing (QE) …
The record amount of stimulus in the economy has led to the most inflation momentum in 30 years, and our economy has not even fully reopened yet. I am deeply concerned that the continuing stimulus put forth by the Fed, and proposal for additional fiscal stimulus, will lead to our economy overheating and to unavoidable inflation taxes that hard working Americans cannot afford.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
Well, perhaps Kerry can explain “exactly, uh” to Biden again about the economy.
That will surely solve problems …
