This Black Conservative Is Bound And Determined To Make America Great Again

Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) is certainly feeling the heat now.

To the extent that he and his Democrat cronies are launching full-on attacks on Larry Elder, a minority Republican who has an immense national following, as well as a strong chance of unseating self-proclaimed King Newsom, with such self-proclamations evident in his utterly abysmal behavior as a supposed “governor.”

Instead, in the spirit of French royalty before the French Revolution (which was inspired by the American Revolution), Newsom has proven himself to be far more of the “Let them eat cake” governor, rather than a real representative.

Which is amusing, considering one of his many actions as governor included dining shoulder to shoulder with medical “professionals” and lobbyists, without masks at the Michelin-starred French Laundry … during the height of the pandemic.

Each meal costs a reported $310 per person. Great use of taxpayer revenues.

Oh, and taxpayers also, in all likelihood, funded the $15,000 bar tab while they were imprisoned in their own homes and essentially forced to depend on the government for rather meager assistance.

Even the mainstream media lost its patience with that one, to the extent that Newsom himself actually apologized … for the cameras, anyway.

“The spirit of what I’m preaching all the time was contradicted and I’ve got to own that … I need to preach and practice. Not just preach.” [Source: The New York Times]

Alas, Newsom proceeded to do nothing but preaching, as practicing appears to be beyond his capabilities, or even his willingness, for that matter.

Which is precisely why he faces a recall election in a month.

Also probably why a homeless man hurled a water bottle at him as well – And, rather unsurprisingly, Newsom had him arrested while turning a blind eye to the rest of the state’s myriad homeless and their routine abuse of drugs, or at times, residents or visitors (what few visitors deign to go to California these days, anyway).

Now, Newsom faces massive competition, namely in the form of Elder, who clearly cares far more about people than absurd self-aggrandizement.

Elder has observed how the state has deteriorated, and rather than blame the people (one of Democrats’ favorite tactics), he has taken aim directly at Newsom himself, including the wide array of Newsom’s “egregious” and “smug” behavior.

“The state is practically ungovernable with Democrats enjoying supermajorities in the Senate and the Assembly, plus a left-wing clueless governor totally beholden to the teachers union that opposes choice in school …

Rising crime, rising homelessness, declining quality of urban education and the Governor’s anti-science coronavirus mandates that were the most severe in the country … The man has got to go.” [Source: The Daily Wire]

Thank you, Larry Elder, for telling it exactly how it is, much in the same way Trump did.

Who knew the truth would be so utterly offensive to liberals? Unless, of course, they’re so accustomed to a life of constant lying and attacking that something as antithetical as the truth would constitute a grave offense.

Elder also assailed Newsom for his abysmal attitude towards public schools, particularly since Newsom’s own children have enjoyed in-school, private education while all the other children in the state suffer.

Which Elder is none too pleased about.

“75% of Black kids in California cannot read at state-level proficiency. 50% of all kids in California in public schools cannot read at state-level proficiency — yet the teacher’s union is [Newsom’s] biggest contributor and they hate, hate, hate school choice.” [Source: The Daily Wire]

Clearly, the Democrats care about minorities to the extent that they can extort their votes, and Elder has rather clearly blamed the terrible situation directly on Democrats themselves. Which is a refreshing change from blaming “the unvaccinated.”

“Our government is what’s ruining the Golden State … Our schools are closed to both students and their parents. Our streets aren’t safe from rising violent crime or the disaster of rising homelessness. And the scandals of Sacramento aren’t going to stop on their own. It’s time to tell the truth. We’ve got a state to save …

Californians know we can do better. The problem is Gavin Newsom, our arrogant out-of-touch governor, has got to go. And I hope that I will be the person you choose to be his successor … Don’t feel bad for him. He can always retreat to his winery, you know, the one that remained open during the pandemic. The man has got to go!” [Source: The Daily Wire]

Amen!

Talk about taking a stand for the people, not to mention epically calling out supposedly facts-obsessed Democrats … with facts.

As far as Newsom’s “response” to Elder? It was devoid of facts …

“If this guy is governor during Delta it would lead to extraordinary suffering … His anti-science approach would move our planet backward in the race against a changing climate. He would be a disaster for California.” [Source: Fox News]

Wow. That’s really persuasive, especially when Newsom himself has routinely defied “the science.”

Most hilariously of all, Newsom has apparently claimed that Larry Elder is “Larry Trump.”

No wonder Elder is vastly more popular than elitist Newsom …
