While Biden is admittedly not performing at an optimal level (to put it mildly), he should be “with it” enough to realize that it is generally not a good idea to allow various family members to shamelessly exploit White House connections.
One would certainly hope so, anyway, because if Biden is not even “with it” enough to recognize this fact, then the nation is in even greater peril than it clear is now.
Which is precisely why Republican members on the House Oversight committee have launched a probe into Hunter Biden’s rather skeptical “art career,” not to mention a number of other shady behaviors from other Biden family members.
“Reports regarding President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.’s family members attempting to profit from their proximity to the White House have been disturbing and recurring …
Unfortunately, these reports of President Biden using his former official positions of public trust to swell the coffers of his family members are widespread, and any hope the pattern of family self-dealing would finally stop when he assumed the presidency has been dashed.” [Source: Fox News]
Unfortunate, indeed. One can only imagine the field day the media would have if Donald Trump, Jr. were to suddenly embark on an “art career.”
Particularly one that results in selling artwork at astronomically high prices, despite having zero background of any kind in art.

“Raise questions” is a nice way to put it. “Skyrocket fears” would be more accurate.
The exponential fears are further justified by the rather routine “cash grab” that other Biden family members have embarked upon ever since Biden assumed the presidency.

Ah, great! So now Ms. Valerie Biden Owens is also a writer, just like Hunter!
Who knew such literary talent ran in the Biden family? Amazing how no one has ever heard of these “writers” before Biden became president.
On top of that, Biden’s own brother has shamelessly promoted his law firm via his White House connection. The fact that he does not even bother to hide this connection speaks volumes about the media’s acquiescence in covering up the Biden family’s various misdeeds.

In January, it was reported President Bidens’ brother, Francis ‘Frank’ Biden, ‘promoted his relationship to the commander-in-chief in an Inauguration Day advertisement for the law firm he advises … Abandoning any pretense of subtlety, Frank Biden brags in the ad that ‘[t]he two Biden brothers have long held a commitment to pushing environmental issues to the forefront.” [Source: Scribd]

How about the charming private jet John Kerry took to Iceland to accept an “environmental award?” Is that what Biden and Co. mean by “pushing environmental issues to the forefront?
Or, more likely than not, does “pushing environmental issues to the forefront” entail effectively locking away all Americans for months on end while the elitist politicians engage in an utterly shameless resource grab for themselves?
Looks like the Biden administration is serious about environmental issues as the rather dreadful Mrs. and Mr. Markle, who fled the supposed tyranny of royal privilege in the United Kingdom for “privacy” only to move to Los Angeles and proceed to lecture the world on American politics.
Hilariously, Mrs. and Mr. Markle recently received an environmental award of their own for committing to having “only two” children, as if such a decision will offset rampant private jet use.
Even more pathetically, the utterly shameless tactics of the Biden administration appear to pervade the entire administration, as Kamala Harris’s rather brazen niece, Meena, who has taken a cue from Mrs. Markle by shamelessly exploiting White House connections to sell Kamala-branded merchandise.
Presumably, Ms. Meena’s actions led to an “ethical headache” for the White House less than a month into Biden’s administration.
Worst of all, literally all of this nonsense has unfolded in under six months’ time.
Imagine what will unfold in a year’s time …
