Biden Makes Ridiculous Excuse for Pro-Freedom Protests

Looks like Americans are realizing that more and more, on a daily basis, the Biden admin has shown its general aversion to freedom, as evidenced by its troubling response to the massive protests that have emerged across Cuba over the weekend.

Needless to say, socialism has hardly been the panacea to people’s needs in the embattled island, which has long suffered under the terrors of the left.

Unsurprisingly, various conservative representatives have come out in droves against the current Cuban regime, the same one that Obama thought it would be a good idea to cozy up to.

For instance, Kevin McCarthy, the GOP Minority Leader in U.S. House of Reps, openly called for liberty for the Cuban people, noting that he stands in total solidarity with their quest for freedom.

“After decades of suffering through a communist dictatorship, the Cuban people deserve liberty. I am proud to stand in solidarity with the people of Cuba who are calling out for freedom.” [Source: Fox News]

In addition, GOP Congressman Steve Scalise also noted that socialism has been a resounding failure in every nation in which it has occurred, particularly since it comes complete with a “tyrannical government.”

“America stands with the people of Cuba as they fight for their freedom from a tyrannical government. Socialism has failed everywhere it’s been tried. We can’t let America become another failed socialist experiment.” [Source: Fox News]

Troublingly, Scalise’s commentary is disturbing since the COVID pandemic has revealed exactly how tyrannical the government can get, especially with all the widespread rumors regarding mandatory vaccinations and other troubling encroachments upon freedom.

Moreover, the fact that the media tends to play right into Democrats’ hands makes the travesty occurring in Cuba now all the more frightening, given how relevant it could be to the current American predicament, particularly with Harris-Obama-Biden at the helm.

Which is precisely why GOP Senator Marco Rubio openly called out the media in a recent tweet.

“Attention US media ..

In #Cuba they are rising up because socialism is always disaster Are you going to report on this so the world can hear their voices?” [Source: Fox News]

It will be interesting to see how the media will “report on this,” especially since the media has been an effective mouthpiece for the Democrats (or wannabe Socialists?) for years now.

In the meantime, supposedly pro-human rights Senator Bernie Sanders has not deigned to comment. That in and of itself is highly disturbing, though it is all the more evidence for the real intentions behind his pro-Socialism campaign.

Provided he’s one of the wealthy, powerful ones, of course.

The Biden administration was apparently “smart” enough to realize that it should issue some type of comment on what is occurring in Cuba, though the response the administration gave was so pitiful that it would have been better off not commenting at all.

Just consider the below tweet from Julie Chung, who serves as Acting Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs.

“Peaceful protests are growing in #Cuba as the Cuban people exercise their right to peaceful assembly to express concern about rising COVID cases/deaths & medicine shortages. We commend the numerous efforts of the Cuban people mobilizing donations to help neighbors in need.” [Source: Breitbart]

Ah, but of course. The ever-popular phrase “peaceful protests.”

Ms. Chung didn’t bother to announce that the protestors (who actually are protesting something legitimate) also happened to be waving American flags, which are apparently now offensive to leftists.

Moreover, how absurd (not to mention vicious) is it to misrepresent people’s struggle for freedom from tyranny as yet another COVID-related spin? Is she totally unaware of the fact that individuals in Cuba have lived under tyranny for decades, long before COVID?

Or, most disturbingly, she is aware, yet refuses to deviate from the standard COVID line.

Fortunately, since conservatives can still serve in the U.S. government, Florida U.S. Reps. Carlos A. Gimenez, Mario Diaz-Balart, and Maria Elvira Salazar penned a joint letter urging the United States to support the Cubans’ struggle for liberty.

“Now more than ever, the United States and the international community must support the Cuban people in their struggle for freedom. The humanitarian crisis Cuba faces right now is yet another symptom of the incompetence and absolute cruelty of the Cuban tyranny …

We know what freedom means for the Cuban people, and now, while the regime uses savage violence against the people peacefully demonstrating in the streets, the world has the obligation to stand with the brave Cuban people.” [Source: Fox News]

Any comment, AOC? Any comment, Antifa/BLM?

Didn’t think so …
